A few months have passed since Jongho and Yeosang got engaged, and now their wedding day has finally come. San was overjoyed for them despite being engrossed in his work to the point he almost forgot about their wedding.
He did feel bad about it, but seeing Jongho and Yeosang dancing their first dance and smiling so brightly at each other as the romantic song played in the background, San has never felt happier for them.
The wedding was beautiful with the ceremony happening near the lake surrounded by family and closest friends. San thought it was beautiful and intimate, and he thinks that Yeosang and Jongho would be perfect for each other even in the future.
"Come on Sannie, let's go and dance!" Seonghwa exclaimed after they ate, grabbing San by his hands and getting him up from his seat.
San had a drink and relaxed a bit but stopped at only one, knowing that he can't take his alcohol well. He shook his head and laughed, jumping around with Yunho and Seonghwa as people danced at the music.
"To Yeosang and Jongho!" Hongjoong raised his drink up and exclaimed before he drank it all in one go.
San laughed, not thinking about anything and instead just singing to the music that was playing and relaxing. He knows that he hasn't had much free time considering that he is always working and always having meetings, but he is relaxed completely now.
Or so he thought, until his phone buzzed. San took it out of his pants, seeing his secretary's name popping up. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked up to his friends.
"Hey, I'll go out for a bit! I gotta take this call!" San yelled over the loud music.
Yeosang just have him a thumbs up before he wrapped his arms around Jongho's shoulders, making San shake his head and get out of the venue. He sighed as he walked out, shivering a bit as the cold air hit his body.
He typed a bit on his phone and called his secretary again, pressing his phone onto his ear and looking down to his shoes.
After a few beeps, she picked up his call.
"Mr. Choi, you finally answered! I wanted to tell you that your father sent me an email about the meeting tomorrow. He is back in town and he wants to see you first thing in the morning!" She said.
San immediately groaned. His father is back? Oh how wonderful.
His father was little to say pain in the ass when they have meetings since he always expects San to do his best, and while he knows that his father only wants the best for him, San knows to get annoyed.
He is the CEO now, and he knows how to do his job. Of course he just had to stay quiet because his father is a more experienced man, and he is his father too. Of course San respects and loves him, but he hates the meetings.
"Is he serious now? Couldn't he just tell me tomorrow to grab lunch and talk? He knows that I'm so busy nowadays." San whined.
"Well, he wants to talk to you about some business partners so he requested me to clear out your schedule for the morning."
San groaned again, squeezing his eyes as he walked a few more steps forward. He sighed, but he knows he is going to endure it as much as he doesn't want it.
"Alright, thanks for telling me. Apart from that, do you maybe happen to have those papers that Mr. Lee sent you?" San asked.
San suddenly furrowed his eyebrows, only catching 'ah, yes' from his secretary as she continued to speak. He saw a man in the distance, crouching down as he held the hands of a small boy who couldn't be older than three years old.
What is he doing here with a small child? It's so loud and definitely not meant for a kid.
The boy seemed to sniffle from crying a bit as the man talked to him, making San furrow his eyebrows as he saw the familiar black hair and a quiet tone that the man was speaking in. He was awfully familiar.
San furrowed his eyebrows even more as he watched the man turn around, and he suddenly felt his heart stopping to beat and his breath hitched.
San was suddenly met with no one else but his ex boyfriend, Wooyoung.
Wooyoung was standing there in a suit and a button up shirt, looking holding the boy's hand in his own and widening his eyes.
"Mr. Choi, do you hear me?" His secretary suddenly asked.
San swallowed his spit, not taking his eyes off of Wooyoung as the male kept staring at him back while still holding the child's hand. The boy seemed now calmer, still holding Wooyoung's hand and not letting it go.
Whose child is this? San asked himself.
"I'll call you back later.." San mumbled before he hung up the call.
He looked up to Wooyoung who visibly gulped, then tugging onto the boy's arm.
"Come on Junnie, let's go.." Wooyoung mumbled as he started to walk away from San.
"Wooyoung, wait." San spoke up before he could leave.
The male stopped in tracks, but didn't turn around. San was more than flabbergasted to see him after almost 3 years of not seeing each other. He didn't change at all, literally looking almost the same as he did three years ago.
His hair was now longer and he looked tired, but San didn't see any changes in him apart from the fact he looked more mature now too. San wondered what happened to him after they broke up.
"Yes?.." The male mumbled as he turned around to face San.
San looked down to the boy who was looking at him with those curious eyes as he held onto Wooyoung's hand. He saw that that boy couldn't be older than three or four years old, and San just couldn't take his eyes off of him.
He sighed as he tried to ease the awkwardness. "How are you doing?"
Wooyoung just stared at him, not saying a thing and visibly looking upset. He seemed like he wanted to leave immediately, and San understood why he was feeling like that.
"I'm fine.." Wooyoung mumbled, holding the boy's hand as he suddenly hid himself behind Wooyoung's legs.
San found him so cute, specially his long curly hair and small button up, but he didn't know where did this boy suddenly come from. He couldn't be older than three and he looked somehow like Wooyoung by his eyes.
"Wooyoung, whose child is this?" San asked suddenly.
Wooyoung visibly gulped, feeling the blood in his veins freezing.
