"So apart from that, yeah. Things have been doing well and your uncle is saying hi to you a lot." San's father laughed.

San also laughed, remembering his uncle and his family back from Namhae. He loves them a lot and definitely hasn't seen them for a bit, but he plans on visiting too.

"I'll definitely visit once I find time, dad. I promise that now." San shook his head.

His dad was disappointed when San didn't visit for a couple of months because the company was very busy and he just didn't have time, but San knows that he will visit them this year.

"Oh, don't bother! I know you're busy with work and your lover too. What was his name again? Wonyoung? Wooyeon?"

San furrowed his eyebrows. "Dad, we broke up almost 3 years ago. And his name is Wooyoung."

His dad raised his eyebrow. "Oh, really? I didn't know about that. I'm sorry son."

San shook his head. "It's alright. He has a kid now apparently, I saw him at the wedding the other day. The boy is cute and he is around three, so."

His father didn't say anything and instead just stared at San in confusion as he took a bite of his risotto, suddenly also stopping and looking at his father.

"What is it? Did I say something wrong or?" San asked.

His father didn't immediately reply, instead just shaking his head and looking flabbergasted for a few moments.

"No, nothing. It's just.."

San furrowed his eyebrows. "Dad, are you okay?"

He nodded. "San, you just said you broke up almost three years ago."

San nodded in confusion back, not knowing what he did or said. What happened suddenly?

"Yeah, we did. He has a child now. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just forgot about it-"

"San, have you thought that you are his child's father?" His father cut him off.

San stopped breathing for a second, instead widened his eyes and stopping to speak when he said that.

It didn't even pass his mind that that could be a possibility, knowing that him and Wooyoung were intimate a lot back then.

Fuck, how didn't he think about it?

San suddenly let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, still staring at his father and feeling his heart racing.

Why would Wooyoung ever hide that if he really is the father?

San shook his head. "Dad, he cheated on me. How am I supposed to know that I am the father?"

"San, maybe he didn't want to tell you exactly because of it. It may be a lie, think about it. That boy is three years old, right? That means he was already pregnant with him."

San was shocked. He doesn't know why does that make so much sense, and even worse, why does he feel like such an asshole now?

He literally almost laughed in Wooyoung's face because he was a father now, and unlike three years ago when he couldn't even take care of himself, he was now much more mature.

And yet San wanted to slap himself so badly now because there is a possibility that he really is the father. How come he didn't remember it earlier?

He never imagined it, not even in this situation and yet he is here shocked because he didn't think of it earlier.

And maybe that's exactly why Wooyoung left when San asked him about the father of his son.

Fuck, he has an even bigger problem now.

Wooyoung sighed as he felt his head hurting, and he just had to take deep breaths every few minutes because he couldn't breathe well.

He was so tired because he didn't get much sleep because Minjun kept crying and having nightmares, and Wooyoung had no other choice but to let him sleep in his bed too.

He feels so bad for his baby. He hates so see Minjun cry to badly, but he knows he can't help his dreams, and that's what made Wooyoung insanely upset at his own self.

Wooyoung hated the fact he couldn't protect his son from anything that tries to hurt him.

He still remembers all the pain he went through when he got pregnant after San and him broke up, and Wooyoung hated every bit of the feeling then.

His family disowned him, boyfriend broke up and he was left all alone. He was a student at that time and he had to give up his dreams to start working at a small cafe.

It didn't pay much, but Wooyoung met nice people and finally managed to live a somehow good life which meant Minjun was well and happy, no matter if he has no clothes to wear and scrape money month to month just for Minjun to be happy.

After all, Wooyoung would go through all that pain all alone again if it meant to have Minjun.

"Hey, are we done today at five or should we stay late?" Wooyoung asked his co-worker Yeonwoo

He wasn't particularly close with Yeonwoo, but he seems nice and he helps Wooyoung too. They don't really talk except for sometimes at work.

But over all, Yeonwoo seems nice but Wooyoung doesn't know him that well yet even if they are the same age and have been working here for almost 3 years together.

"Yeah, sure. You can leave early, I'll take care of it later." Yeonwoo smiled as he continued making coffee.

Wooyoung nodded, excited that he gets to spend more time with Minjun today. He doesn't get to do much with him because he works and Minjun is at Seonghwa and Hongjoong's place or sometimes his neighbor who was a sweet older lady offers to babysit.

He is so grateful, but also not spending time with his kid made Wooyoung feel guilty because he knows how fast he is growing up.

But apart from growing up, Wooyoung knows he would be one day curious about his other father.

And just as he thought about how unfair it was to him, Wooyoung raised his head up and smiled a bit when he heard the door open. He just wanted to greet people nicely.

"Hello, welcome! What can I get you-"

Wooyoung stopped speaking, instead widening his eyes as he saw the familiar black haired male staring at him in equal shock.

Out of all people, San just had to be standing there and staring at Wooyoung in shock as some woman stood next to him.
