Minho rushed back to Seungmin's room to give him the food as fast as he could.

"Seungmin! I'm b—" As soon as he opened the door to Seungmin's room, he saw the boy standing up, holding one hand on the mattress as he tried to walk.

Minho placed his food on the ground and immediately ran over to support Seungmin, not wanting him to fall. He placed one hand strongly around his waist, and the other on his hip.

"Minnie, what are you doing? I told you to stay in bed." He helped Seungmin sit back on the bed, then supported his head so he could lay down comfortably. "You're still weak. You're not supposed to—"

"That's the point." Minho heard Seungmin speak softly, his voice ragged and dry, though it was slightly better than the day before. "I'm too weak." Tears started to build up in his eyes, making them glossy and shiny.

Minho hugged him, and laid his head on seungmin's chest. "You're not weak, Minnie. those men were bigger than you. There was nothing you could do." He assured him.

Still, Seungmin cried. Minho figured it was no use, and he went to get the bread and water from the door. He carried them over to Seungmin and unscrewed the cap on the water.

"Here, please drink some." He brought the opening to Seungmin's dry lips and poured a bit into his mouth. Seungmin scrunched his face up in pain as he swallowed, the liquid stinging his sensitive throat.

He started to cough from the sensation, and Minho stroked his forehead as he did, trying to calm Seungmin as his cough slowed down.

"I'm sorry Min..." Seungmin said, feeling bad for making Minho stay with him and help him. He was weak, and couldn't even stand for himself. He hated how he was just like glass, fragile and bitter.

Minho wiped some sweat off Seungmin's forehead and nose. "Don't be sorry, Minnie. I'm going to take care of you. I know Channie and the others aren't here right now, but they all love you too and would do the same."

Seungmin nodded hearing Minho's kind words. "They're all at work now, otherwise they would be here too." Minho said as he fidgeted with the bread in his hand, poking it softly with his fingertips.

Minho's words brought a glimpse of happiness to Seungmin's face, the corner of his mouth slightly raised, forming a small smile. It seemed that the thought of his friends was the only thing that made him happy at the moment.

But that was only the calm before the storm.

Both of them knew it was inevitable, but eventually, Seungmin was going to have to tell someone what happened to him, and Minho knew it would be really hard for him to talk about something like that. He didn't want to bring up the topic too fast, so he decided to hold off on asking.

"Doctor Choi got some bread for you, since I figured you wouldn't want jello." Minho showed Seungmin the bread, and he took it from him with his slim fingers. Eheb he tried to break it apart, he just couldn't get enough strength to dig his nails into the harder shell of the bread.

"Here, let me." Minho took it back from Seungmin's struggling hands, but as soon as he did, he started to cry as he watched Minho piece apart the bread.

Minho put it down on seungmin's lap and wrapped his hands around his face. "Seungminnie, what's wrong?" The boy shook his head and kept crying, looking down at his lap.

"I can't even break apart bread." He sniffled, but Minho didn't stop comforting him.

"You're not weak, Seungmin. You're strong. But even strong people get hurt sometimes, and there's nothing you can do about it."

Seungmin didn't say anything, but he nodded. Minho gave him a small piece of bread, and set it into Seungmin's mouth. He chewed on it lightly, then swallowed it with the same aching face.

Minho rubbed his back through the pain, trying to soothe him. "I know it hurts, Minnie, but you have to eat."

Seungmin nodded understandingly. "I'm going to go to the waiting room so you can get some sleep." Minho stood up and was about to leave, but Seungmin held onto Minho's index and middle finger. He turned around to see Seungmin looking at him with scared eyes.

"Stay."

He tried to remove Seungmin's hand, but the boy held on as tight as he could, weak as he was. Minho sat back down, letting Seungmin drag him by his fingers.

He laid his head down on the mattress and watched Seungmin fall asleep, clinging to his fingers like a baby to their mother.

Minho smiled at this, and he couldn't help but find it extremely cute.

I have another question. I'm doing a lot of editing right now, so I just wanted to know if you guys like the bold dialogue or not? I'm sort or split.
