I went back to my room, as I changed my clothes and threw myself upon the bed and sleep consumed me.
It was midnight, I walked to the side table for some water but the bottle was empty.
I went to the kitchen and drank some water. As I was heading toward my room from the kitchen I thought to check upon Tejaswini once more to see if she is fine.
I opened the door of her room and went inside.
She was deeply asleep but as I noticed she was shivering as well. I kept my hand on her forehead softly so that I wouldn't disrupt her sleep. She was having a high fever.Shit! How did I forget to dry her hair!?
She is sleeping so peacefully, I can't wake her up to give medicines.
I went downstairs and took a cloth and a bowl of cold water.I sat on the floor beside her, dipped the cloth in water and kept it on her forehead while caressing her hair.
As time passed I did the same thing again and again and now her fever was getting down. After tending to her I noticed the sharp pain in my head. I took a balm and applied a little of it on my temples.
I opened my eyes and there was a throbbing pain in my head. It's 4 am in the morning, I can't even breathe properly because my nose is jammed.Ugh! I feel like crying, I hate being sick!
I turned my head sideways and noticed Mr. Rathore half lying beside my feet on the bed and half on the floor. He looked like a Greek god with such a peaceful aura even while sleeping.
