the cheer captain was at a restaurant with Aubrey grabbing brunch after working out at their facilities together earlier, she was thinking about the upcoming second round of UCA that was a day away while her best friend is currently on tiktok live just talking to a bunch of her followers

she was pulled from her thoughts when Aubrey called her name, she turned her head seeing the taller girl looking at her "sorry what?"

"this old dude spit all over my food yesterday at the charity event we went to"

Kameron laughs recalling the memory of when Aubrey told her the story of how a chunk of chicken flew to her plate from a guy's mouth during the annual charity thing her and the rest of uconn wbb team goes to

"oh god yeah, ugh really wish I could've been there so I could've forced you to keep eating either way" Kameron laughs

Aubrey adjusts her phone on the table so the live could also see Kameron sat beside her, comments flooded greeting the cheer captain while others also wished her good luck for the competition

"dude! I was so upset, I was literally starving but it was so disgusting I felt bad because the old guy was like 'oh you're not hungry anymore?' but no! I was starving I just couldn't tell him that his chewed up chicken was all over my food now" Aubrey ranted to her live while Kameron patted her shoulder comfortingly in between her laughing

Aubrey glares at her best friend "glad you find joy in other people's misery, I went home starving yesterday"

"I don't find joy in people's misery, Aubrey, just yours" she smiles cheekily pinching the girl's nose who swatted her away

"this is what your precious Kameron actually is like in real life, she ain't no angel like you guys think" Aubrey rolls her eyes at the camera

Aubrey ended the live after that as they also finished their meal, well Aubrey did while Kameron eventually just took her's to go.

"You tryna swing by my place after this? Paige and the others will be there" Aubrey mentions as she pulls out of the restaurant parking lot, giving her best friend a glance in the passenger seat.

Kameron gave a shrug "yeah sure, we have the rest of the day off anyway. Jan was visited by Jesus this morning apparently because she let us rest before the competition tomorrow"

"like I wanna slam my head against your dashboard right now so I don't have to go tomorrow"

Aubrey chuckles giving the cheer captain a look before turning back to the road "yeah sure as if you'd miss UCA, stop stressin' too much Kameron, you got this, just like the first round you guys are gonna wow the judges then head straight to championships in march"
