13 - what are you doing?

Malia

"i dont know what we even are, malia! you treat me like im so special but then you just go away. its like naglalaho ka bigla bigla! you dont know how much i like you, mal!"

hearing that from aria, it made my heart sink. i never knew she liked me too.

"you like me?"

"yes! yes i do!" she exclaimed as she was bursting out tears.

i went to sit beside her. i looked at her and her eyes were very ed from crying and her nose. i hugged her, she hugged me back. her tears were running down that gorgeous face i know.

she looked at me and wiped her tears, she was looking at me with those little puppy eyes that i know. she looked into my eyes, i took every single moment to adore her eyes and her beauty that was just ineffable.

and there we go, she kissed me. aria kissed me.
it was passionate, like she was hungry for more. but i know it was just too early for it. so i pulled away from the kiss.

"what?!" she exclaimed.

"ari its too early.. lets go home."

"no! no! get away from me!" she said and she pushed me. after that, she ran away to the exit. i quickly got up and ran the direction she went but i got caught up in the big crowd and such bright lights and when i got out, there were so much people dancing everywhere and i couldn't control where my feet were taking me.

until some random girl with long hair came up and took my hand,

"are you enjoying?" she asked and smiled. I didn't reply, showing her i have no interest in talking to her currently.

Aria

i ran towards the exit but i was caught up on the crowd were so many people were dancing in. i was trying to find malia, maybe running away from her was a big mistake. now i cant find the way out.

i looked everywhere, until my eyes got caught on some familiar sighting. its malia.

a girl was holding her hand and she got closer and closer to her, malia didn't seem to want to reciprocate what she was doing but then the girl kissed her. i felt my heart ache as i saw that happen, its like i got turned off by her.

i saw her took a glance at me, so i continued to run away to the exit. my heart sank in my stomach just thinking about what i just saw, and it hurts so bad. i know, we arent even a thing.. but it hurts. i ran out of stamina and stopped running and continued walking. a guy suddenly grabbed my hand,

"hey, who are you running away from?"

"who are you? let go of me." i looked at him, he looked worried. i felt tears running down my face and I didn't even notice that i was crying.

"do you have anyone to go home with? you can trust me, i can take you to your home." as much as I didn't want to agree because he's a complete stranger, i still nodded back.

he walked me out the exit door, safe and sound.

"so.. why are you here, lady?" he asked, as we were walking to his car.

"well, i was with a girl and..." i said as i wiped my tears after.

"mhm, and?"

"and.. she.. *sniffle* i saw her with a different girl.."

"damn, that must suck, huh?"

"it does, it does a lot."

after that conversation, i told him where i lived and he dropped me off.

"hey! I didn't get your number yet.. and your name?"

"oh its +93 *** **** ****, aria hawke." i said back, and i smiled.
just being kind.

he continued back to his car and i entered the house. i saw my mom, sitting on the couch with our dog. she didn't even bother looking at me, she really doesn't care talaga about me.

i was in my room, on my bed. i was sitting in plain silence, i dont
even know what im doing in life. until i started thinking about earlier.. did they really kiss? or maybe thats just me being dizzy..

but this is the las time malia will hear from me. i took out the piece of the gem stone i once picked up, and its bright and shiny light were mesmerizing. it glowed up once i touched it again, like it always does. i held it with my two hands, i closed my eyes..

"dear gem stone.. whoever is hearing me.. please, give me power. enough power to do whatever i want in this life..."

i heard a voice.. is that.. aria? what is she doing??
i was outside when i heard that, i took out the gem piece inside my pocket and it was glowing.. it showed a familiar face inside it, its aria.. she's inside her room.

i thought of calling her, so i did.

*ringing...*

aria! aria, please answer.

*call ended*

fuck! why didn't she answer!!?

no choice, i have to go to her house.

i went up the stairs and it lead straight to the balcony of her room,
i landed on her balcony and looked through the door, it was obviously locked from the inside. i saw her; on her bed, she was holding the gem. i looked at the gem in my hand, it was still lighting up; it showed that she was talking, but i couldn't hear her anymore. i broke down the glass door of her balcony.

"AH! holy sht! what are you doing?!"

"malia..?"

"ari.. i-"

she quickly took out a gun from her bedside drawer.. why the fuck does she have a gun?

"woah! why do you have that??"

"none of your business malia! leave now."

"what why??! come on arii.. i just want to know what you're doing.."

"do you think I didn't see you kiss that girl earlier?!"

kiss that girl? shit. I didn't kiss her, she kissed me. I didn't kiss her back! and i pulled away naman agad eh! i dont like her even a bit!

"no ari! i dont like her, even a bit y'know! and she kissed ME i didn't kiss her back! i pulled away right after that and ran towards the exit, but i saw you and this.. guy.."
