(Chapter 4)

Tommy continues running faster and faster. All he can think about is not being found by Ranboo.

As he ran, he could hear the sounds of Ranboo's footsteps getting closer and closer.

Panic seized Tommy's heart, and he found himself gasping for breath, his lungs burning with the effort. But he couldn't stop, not now, not when his life depended on it.

He darted around corners, weaving through trees, trying to throw Ranboo off his trail.

Each step felt like a gamble, and he could only hope that he was moving fast enough to stay one step ahead of his pursuer.

Tommy ran into his brother's house.

A Familiar voice spoke, "Tommy?" It was Wilbur.

Tommy stumbled through the door, gasping for breath and drenched in sweat. He looked up to see his brother, Wilbur, standing there, a look of concern on his face.

Wilbur spoke, his voice filled with surprise and worry. "Tommy? What's going on? Why are you running like this?"

Tommy tried to catch his breath, his chest heaving as he leaned against the wall. He looked at his brother, his eyes wide with fear. "Ranboo," he gasped out. "He's after me. He's killed people. He's going to kill me too."

Tommy's voice trembled as he spoke, his eyes filled with grief and despair. "He killed Tubbo," he repeated, as if saying it out loud would somehow make it less real.

Wilbur's expression darkened as he heard the news. "Tubbo..." he whispered, as if the name itself was a curse. "How? Why?"

Tommy shook his head, the memory of Tubbo's death still fresh and raw in his mind. "He just...he was there, and then he wasn't," he said softly. "I couldn't do anything to stop it."

Wilbur's face was a mask of anger and grief. "No, no no no," he muttered, more to himself than to Tommy.

"This can't be happening. It's not possible. Tommy, you're safe now. I won't let anything happen to you."

....

But even as Wilbur spoke, they could hear footsteps outside.

Heavy footsteps that could only belong to one person - Ranboo.

The footsteps outside stopped. For a moment, everything was silent. And then the door burst open, and Ranboo stepped into the room.
His eyes were immediately fixed on Wilbur, and a blank expression on his face.

"Well, well, look what we have here," Ranboo said, his voice cold and menacing. "Wilbur Soot, playing the hero."

Wilbur stood his ground, his grip on the sword tightening even more. "Stay back," he warned, his voice low and dangerous. "I won't let you hurt anyone else."

Ranboo chuckled and took a step closer, his eyes glinting with a strange kind of excitement. "Oh, you're going to stop me? All by yourself?"

"If I have to." Wilbur replied, his voice firm.

He raised his sword and pointed it at Ranboo. "I'm not afraid of you."

Ranboo stared at him, and there was no warmth in his eyes.

"You should be," he said, and suddenly lunged forward. As Ranboo lunged forward,

Wilbur reacted quickly, swinging his sword at him. There was a loud *clang* as the metal weapons collided, and then suddenly something strange happened.
Ranboo's eyes changed color, from green to their normal shade.

Ranboo's eyes widened as he suddenly came back to his senses. He stumbled backwards, his expression one of confusion and fear.

"Wilbur...?" he repeated, his voice hesitant and shaking. "What...what's going on?"

Wilbur lowered his sword, uncertainty on his face. "Ranboo, is that you?" he asked cautiously.

Ranboo shook his head, looking dazed and disoriented. "I...I don't know what's happening," he said, his voice filled with confusion and terror. "I can't remember...anything."

Tommy stepped out of the secret room, eyes wide as he looked at Ranboo. He instinctively backed up, a look of fear on his face.

Ranboo looked at Tommy, his expression still one of confusion and horror. He stumbled forward a few steps, as if trying to reach out to him.

"Tommy," Ranboo said, his voice rough and uncertain. "I...I don't know what's happening to me."

"Stay away from me!" Tommy yells.

Ranboo's expression faltered as Tommy shouted at him to stay away. He took a step back, looking lost and bewildered.

"Please, Tommy...," he said, his voice soft and pleading. "It's me. I don't know what's going on, but I would never hurt you."

He yelled, "You killed Tubbo!"

Ranboo's eyes widened at the mention of Tubbo's name. He looked stunned, as if the memory was suddenly returning to him.

"I...I killed him...?" he repeated, his voice soft and shocked. "I don't remember...I don't remember doing that." "You did!"

Ranboo took a step back, shaking his head. "No, no, it can't be," he said, his voice filled with denial. "I don't remember...I would never intentionally hurt anyone, let alone Tubbo..

"Wait.. what?.." Tommy realizes. "Ranboo, your eyes. They are normal."

"Normal?.", Ranboo tilts confused.
