Today was the day she was to take her leave for dorne. She was fully packed, and of course she had to endure her and Daemons dreadful wedding, because the entire time she seathed nothing but hate towards them both.
Hate towards her mother because she had lied about her birth her whole life, and shd was sending her away. Angry at Daemon to suddenly want to be a father now, although he had his other children.
She sat outside on the dock, her family awaiting her. She decided to wear a beige longsleeve dress with red trim along the edges, leaving her hair down long and wavy. Jace said his farewells first of course.
"Im gonna miss you" Jacaerys said looking at her with doe eyes.
"Ill be back before you know it." she replied with a slight chuckle attempting to ease the situation and shed some light of it.
"Nys im sorry."
she slightly smiled, the corner of her mouth curving upwards. Her brothers cruel, jealous behavior was something she got used to. But an apology was the least she expected. She was stunned, and had no words to say.
An awkward silence lingered theough the air as she kept her polite kind gentle smile. Before Jacaerys broke the silence, "Ill see you soon little dove." He said kissing tbe temple of her forehead.
Daenys basked in it, before moving onto the next. "Lucerys." she said touching his arm gently with a squeeze.
She bent down to get on his height level.
"Be good."
A teardrop fell from his eye before he suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist tightly, "I dont want you to leave!" he yelled out.
"I know.. I know.." she sighed clicked her tongue, "She moved him back to stare at his face, "But ill be back before you know it, and I will teach you more about Aegons Conquest like we promised." She said smiling. He smiled back and gave her one last final hug before she moved to the sisters.
"These past few days we have spent together have been a delight." Baela said sweetly.
"We'll miss you. And we will have our 3rd sister back in no time." Rhaena added with a smile.
Daenys smiled and embraced them into a long tight hug that lasted a few seconds, soon afterwards she turned her attention towards Ser colin.
"Princess." He said with a dissapointing look on his face.
"I wish I could accompany you to Dorne, but I will be hear waiting, to confinue my dutys as your sworn guard." He said with his hands clasped behind his back
"And I eagerly look forward to that Ser colin, you will be in my thoughts whilst I stay in dorne for the years to come." She said with a smile Finnaly, the last people she yet to say goodbye to.
