Mishika's pov
My steps slowed down, the ping notification sound dragged my attention to my mobile screen. Curiosity filled me in upon finding his name on the screen since we don't really text or call each other. Pushing the other thoughts away, I instantly opened the text page.

A startled gasp egress from my lips as the image in the chat opened to reveal a section of his closet filled with different types of pink.

Aarav
Pink morning, Honey-eye.

Mishika
What have you done ?

This time instead of receiving another text, I received another picture. I swear my heart skipped a beat as my gaze bore into his eyes in the picture, his face akin to a mixture of frown and curiosity. Nonetheless the highlight was the pink shirt he wore, the same one I gifted him.

Aarav
You said men who wear
pink looks handsome.

So, do I look handsome to you ?

Mishika
You're crazy.

Aarav
I told you I'm.
ONLY FOR YOU.

The phone almost dropped when I heard my father clearing his throat a little too loudly. Heat crawled to my cheeks, my face ducked down in embarrassment and all I prayed was that he didn't notice me smiling like a fool.

Shoving the phone in my pocket, I quickly took my seat on the dining chair while I wished my parents a good morning. Beside me, Ishan let out a muffled guffaw, followed by Deepti, making my embarrassment reach another notch.

Isn't he enjoying it a little too much ?

Since, their parents are gone to visit their grandmother, mumma strictly told them to have their meals here. It's always been this way.

The breakfast proceeded with some random chit chat unless Deepti shrieked for me, taking the entire table off-guard.

"Aise kaun chillata hai ?" Ishan chided in, slapping the back of her head. Throwing a dirty look his way, she ignored him as she stretched her phone in my direction across the table.

(Who yells like that ?)

"Di look, doesn't the building Ms cheap Zara is walking out of belong to your in-laws ?"

My eyes surfed through the latest article, as it exaggerated Lara di's relation with Aarav and made assumptions about her being the bride, The Oberois have been hiding. There was even a picture of Lara di walking out of the office compound with the biggest smile plastered on her face and a big bouquet of roses in her hand.
