William's P.O.V.

Sometimes it feels like, in such a big world, why is all this happening to us ? Why is all this happening in my sister's life ?

But if all this had not happened then would we have even known how much sorrow she is carrying within her ?

It is said that whatever happens, it happens for good !

Is this even correct ?

I caress her soft hair as she is still sleeping, unaware of her surrounding.

Her breathing is slow and steady, but her face bears the traces of dried tears.

I caress her face.

One girl who always told me to never go to bed with tears in eyes, is now crying to her sleep. Irony.

But, life is always an irony. Isn't it ? It often presents situations where the opposite of what we expect happens.

She always wanted to live like a princess. Always.

A smile forms on my face when I remember something...

💭 Flashback 💭

"Why she is giving us homework on weekend ? Weekend is for relaxation not for homework." Ethan whinns with a pout sitting beside me on the couch.

I roll my eyes at him.

He is just 12 years old and just so dramatic.

When I was of this age, I used to keep all my homework complete. And now he is complaining so much about this homework ?

Definitely Dramatic.

"This is nothing, Ethan. Once you grow up, then you will have only 1 answer for 2-2 pages. Enjoy it while it lasts, little brother" I warn him.

He pouts.

I roll my eyes. Fucking Duck.

"LIAM" I snap my head towards this voice.

All the very best, William !

"Yes Ma'am ?" I smile at the little demon, who just crashed on my legs, keeping her little face on my knees, standing between my legs and looking at me with her doe eyes.

"Liammm" She pouts.

"What do you want, Lia ?" I asks her, already knowing her intentions.

"Am I good girl ?" She asks me with her doe eyes wide open.

"No" Ethan grins looking at her, before I could even respond. His books long forgotten.

I roll my eyes at him.

She glares at him.

"Yes Lia, you are good girl" I lean down and peck her head.

"Then, I should get a gift" She smiles.

"What do you want ?" I asks her, with my right eyebrow raised.

"I want a horse !" she declares, her little face scrunched up in determination.

I smiles, "Sure Lia, I will bring you the toy-"

"NO, I want a real horse just like Mulan and Merida has" She pouts.
