Chapter 27: Delight With Devils

The leaders got together in celebration as they congratulated the group for dealing with Loki.

"I'll have to thank you for dealing with Loki like that," Odin said, and moving his gaze to Keiji. "Very impressive that you were almost able to almost kill that wayward child."

Far removed from the others, Baraquiel had a forlorn expression at the whole thing while Rossweisse's eyes lingered on Keiji before she came to her God's side.

Baraquiel felt some patting on his back as the Norse God smiled at the Cadre fallen angel. "Cheer up, old timer! I'll invite you for a drink to help your sorrows! We Norse are fine drinkers, so good luck!"

"Lord Odin, please act more sensible," Rossweisse urged to him.

Odin rolled his eyes. "You're as stiff as ever, Rossweisse. Keep this up and you'll never find a partner," Odin said, chuckling while Rossweisse pouted at her lords harsh statement, mumbling something about how it wasn't her fault.

"Did something happen, mother?" Akeno asked, seeing her gaze at something with a somber smile.

Shuri turned to her daughter with a sad smile. "All that needed to be said as been done."

Akeno felt her mother shudder as she embraced her. "All will be fine," Akeno said as they returned to the others.

Exhausted, Gasper felt himself getting crowded by his best friend as she played with his cheeks. "I can't believe you finally released your true self," Valerie mumbled.

"True self?" Keiji replied in a question to Valerie, looking at her for an answer.

"Even among the vampires, Gasper is an esoteric existence," Elmenhilde started, approaching the group. "When his mother gave birth to Gasper, his appearance was nothing like his current looks. A mass of amorphous of darkness, which ended up killing his own mother. The strange power he unleashed has always been there and it appears to be a mutation of that with his Sacred Gear."

Keiji looked towards Gasper. 'Does Rias have a talent for picking up people with troubled pasts?"

"How fascinating. Looks like his Sacred Gear has a bit more to him. For such a birth, it could only mean that a piece of the Evil God Balor must be present in him. You're gonna need a Balance Breaker name. Let's see... how about.. Forbidden Invade Balor the Beast!" Azazel stated.

Keiji shrugged at the suggestion, focusing his vision on Gasper. "Regardless of what he is, Gasper is Gasper," Keiji commented, making Valerie, Elmenhilde and the little devil dhampir smile in response. "We are fellow men of the Gremory household."

Returning back to the Gremory Castle, everyone took a moment to relax after the tumultuous events that transpired. Gasper was playing his game impressively, despite being exhausted. Keiji was talking to Koneko and Akeno about their new powers, Xenovia and Yuuto discussing about swordsmanship.

Impatiently, Rias tapped her fingers as she thought about whether to speak up or not. 'Okay, I'm going to speak my mind!'

Just as Rias was about to suggest a comfy celebration, the Leviathan circle brought before the busty, pure-blood descendant. Her first order of business was to bow down to Keiji, while everyone was surprised at the sudden arrival.

"Sorry for interrupting you on your vacation, but something urgent has come up that I think would be in your interest. The Sephiroth Graal user, too."

Keiji stepped out of conversation with the girls, everyone wishing him a safe trip. Rias made sure to press her chest against him and snog him on his lips. "Stay safe. Are you sure you don't need me to come with you?"
