The twins kept their promise and have aided Harry in winning the house cup. Everyone was ecstatic, especially Wood. Gryffindor spent the whole weekend celebrating but unfortunately it was time to get back to reality and soon most of the students were in the library studying for their end of year exams.

Melanie was in the library with Hermione revising for her last exam which was ancient runes. Fred and George were also there but less concerned about anything as they just finished sitting their o.w.ls. They were sat a bit further from her whispering something to each other.

"I have no idea how those two haven't gotten kicked out for talking yet." Hermione muttered.

"Just be glad they're whispering." Melanie remarked. She made eye contact with Fred who sent her a cheeky wink.

The girls slowly got back to studying when Professor Lupin approached them.

"Miss Summers may I speak to you for a moment?"

"Of course Professor." She closed her book and walked away to the corner with Lupin. He looked pale almost sick and somewhat tense. "Sir is everything okay?" She asked concerned.

"Yes Melanie I just wanted to inform you that this week you will have a joined session with myself and Professor Snape out on the grounds."

"Oh? Alright well is that safe?"

"Of course, I will put up a barrier anyway that will shield you away and make sure no one from afar sees anything." He reassured her.

"Okay thank you. I'll see you tomorrow then." She replied and started walking away.

"Melanie." Lupin said as he grabbed her arm. When she stopped he let go just as quick. "I need you to understand something. Your ministers expect to see you return with your full potential and as you know we are running short on time."

"Yes Professor, I know."

"I just need you to remember something tomorrow." He whispered almost apologetically. "It's not real." He added and without waiting for a response hurried away out of the library.

Melanie was still befuddled when she returned to the table. Her instincts were telling her something was wrong.

"Everything alright Love?" Fred asked when she sat down.

"Yes Freddie. I'm just supposed to have a joined session with Lupin and Snape tomorrow." She sent him a gentle smile.

Back in the girls dormitories Melanie decided to confide in Hermione.

"It certainly seems weird. But what would he mean by it's not real? Hm maybe a new form of legilimacy. But then why would they want to do it on the grounds instead of in a classroom." Hermione thought out loud to herself. "And it's definitely dangerous with the Dementors lurking around in the forest and around the borders of the grounds. Any display of power like that and they'd be hunting you down."

Melanie went pale at that last comment.

"But if Snape and Lupin will be there then you have no reason to worry Mel."

"Hermione is it too much to ask of you to come with me to the session?"

"I won't be allowed and besides it's Buckbeaks execution tomorrow."

"No I know. But I was hoping maybe before you could take Harry's cloak and just I don't know come?"

"And what would I tell him?"

"The truth. But only him. I don't need Fred and George worrying about this, that's why I'm glad that they will be on the other side of the grounds in the tower working on whatever they've been doing the past couple of weeks."
