Arno returns to the cave to go through the main entrance to the Brotherhood hideout. He goes upstairs to the archives where the councilors are all gathered up, praying for the death of Mirabeau. The councilors finished as they saw Arno entering with his assassin outfit.
Arno: I have received your message.
Trenet: We're glad you came, Monsieur (Mister) L/n.
Arno: I won't be here long. I just want to know what happened Monsieur (Mister) Mirabeau.
Guillaume: We do not know what happened to him. There was no evidence of the incident. When he arrived back, he fell down and his HP was going red quickly, and then he died.
Quemar: The mysterious killer was persistent. They didn't leave a trace of their whereabouts. They could be anywhere on the floors.
Arno: I'll find out who killed Mirabeau. But I'm not expecting a welcome back from you. I'm fine on my own.
Arno walks away from the Councilors of the Brotherhood to exit the hideout and goes to find the killer.

Floor 1: Town of Beginnings
Arno and Sinon arrived at the church where they were before with Kirito and Asuna. Arno told Sinon about how Mirabeau was killed, someone who didn't leave any evidence or a trace to the killer. So Sinon decided to assist Arno on his mission.
Arno knocked on the door to the entrance of the church. They waited a few seconds for the door to open to see Sasha, Yulier and Thinker.
Sasha: Oh, it's you two, hello!
Arno: Apologies for the disturbance, Sasha. We're here to investigate a murder that happened recently.
The three gasped quietly for what they heard from Arno.

The group were all gathered around the same table where Yulier was talking about Thinker's disappearance.
Arno: I need to know who killed one of my mentors from the Brotherhood, his name Mirabeau, one of the Councilors.
Sasha: I'm sorry, but I don't know a player who is named that.
Arno: Yulier, where were you when the incident happened?
Yulier: I was here with Thinker, taking care of the children in the church. I was never outside when the murderer happened.
Arno: I see. Thinker, what about you? Did you see anyone who killed Mirabeau?
Thinker: No, I didn't. But, I have this dagger that the killer dropped. *opens menu* I hope this will help you with your investigation.
Thinker goes to the inventory menu and equips the dagger and places it on the table.
