Third person's pov
She was seated with Farha waiting for the lecturer to come. The lecturer came to their class a few minutes later and announced the date of the final exams which will be held in next month. As the lecturer departed the students squealed with happiness as today will be the last day of their college life, then suddenly the class became quiet as it dawned upon them that it was the last time they would be together, leaving their memories behind them, to start anew.
Some would gonna be teachers or work in office or they would get married and start new life. Everyone were going on different paths. Likewise Liyaa wanted to become teacher, and teach the little kids. Everyone were talking to each other as if their life was dependent on it.
"Which school are you gonna teach?" Farha asked her.
"I have thought to apply at Al rahmah school, which is very near to our hometown" she replied lost in her memories. How soon the year end, it felt like yesterday when they met with Afrah in the canteen. All the memories of her and Farha came rushing into her mind, the moment they were caught bunking the class or sneaking into the canteen, eating chocolates from others bag, or climbing the tree in the campus. They hadn't wasted a singe day and had cherished each day of their college life.
She looked beside her at Farha who was munching the chocolate. She sighed at her friend who loved chocolate more than anything. Their bond was something which everyone wished to have. She hugged her in the spur of the moment which startled Farha. She looked at her with wide eyes thinking that she had gone crazy.
"Hey what are you doing?!" Farha said taken aback.
"I will miss you" I said hugging her tightly.
"I will miss you too" she said hugging her back.
It was noticed by Afrah who was sitting at the end of the row, she looked at them with awe and admiration.
"Do you know them both?" a girl next to her asked bringing her out of her trance.
"Yes" she nodded at her with a scowl, averting her gaze from them. She stood up and walked towards them.
"Hello! How are you guys?!" She asked them.
"Hi! We are fine" they both replied in unison. Liyaa quickly wiped away her tears which didn't go unnoticed by Afrah.
"It feels good to graduate isn't it?!" Afrah asked them.
"Yeah but it's dreary too" Farha retorted back.
"It indeed is" she retaliated. "Any plans after college today?" she asked them both.
"No" Liyaa responded uninterested.
"Shall we go to the cafe?" Afrah asked enthusiastically.
"I won't be able to come since my sister's coming today" Farha replied. It had been two days since her sister's walima and today she would be coming home before going to honeymoon. So their family had arranged a dinner for the groom's family and their relatives.
