After the announcement of the next game which was the fighting tournament, some the 16 finalists were getting ready
While the rest of the students that didn't make it to the finals instead joined in on the side games as an opportunity to show off their abilities to the pros
The girls of 1-A were still in their cheerleading outfits
Ashido, Hagakure, Asui and Uraraka mainly being the ones to actually cheer
Instead the other three, Todoroki, Jiro and Yaoyorozu didn't show as much energy as their friends
Though Momo did try to make an attempt at the cheerleading gig, slightly waving around her pom poms
While Jiro just sat down next to Shoko who looked like she did not want to be there
With the other finalists...
Izuku had his head deep in thought on how he would be able to defeat the physical powerhouse that was his adversary
Katsuki instead had his face to the wall, God knows what he was thinking
Tokoyami instead used the free time and took this opportunity to rest
Ida began to drink multiple cans of what looked like orange juice
We then go back to Todoroki as she was still sitting next to Jiro
And some of the participants even did join in on the side games such as Kaminari and Sero
Then there was (Y/N)
He was currently alone somewhere in one of the waiting rooms
He and Izuku's fight was up first so he had shorter time to prepare compared to the rest of the fighters

Those noises echoed throughout the room as the jumping rope continuesly hit the ground as he warmed up for his fight
Notably he was also wearing a long black hooded robe with golden outlines and design
The article of clothing flowed as he continued to jump up to the air in quick succession

The rope's handles landed on the ground
(Y/N) gasped for air as he looked to the clock in the room

He then looked at the large metal case in the room, a few inches taller and wider than he was
"Should I use it now?"
He thought to himself, a small hint of temptation telling him to reveal his secret weapon and the final "support item" he had registered for the sports festival
Ultimately he made the final decision not too. Not thinking he'd need it too early. And to also not spoil the surprise.
