The drive home was filled with silence and for the first time ever they did not hold hands the entire car ride, in fact they didn't hold hands at any part of the car ride, Marjorie found herself getting lost in a daze as she watched out the window, her head leaning on the glass, she still hadn't regained all of her energy back and she hadn't gotten much sleep after these past few days.

Especially when all she could think about what could've been she felt reece's hand graze hers slilghtly as reassurance and she turned to him, mustering enough strength to smile at him and take his hand in hers, his thumb immiedately tracing idle little patterns on her hand, she leant her head against the window again watching the nature they were driving by.

Marjorie squeezed his hand just a little tighter, to try ground herself and not to go back into reminiscing the times of her pregnancy, even though all of those moments were happy she couldn't help but feel a ache in her chest whenever she thought of the times she was wrapped up in the happiness and excitement, past her didn't know what was going to hit her, she wished she could rewind time back and take preoccortians, with what she done.

Reece squeezed her hand once again grounding her back to reality, she sighed - a sad sort of sigh - she didn't know why this has happened to her? why this happened to them? She turned to look at reece, Why did this happen to reece? He deserved to be a father, he deserves to be a father, she felt guilty that she couldn't give him that - he was technically still a father but he would never be able to act on his father duties and she would never be abel to act on her mother duties - it felt unfair, they felt empty, they were obviously missing something but they could do this, they could get through this together, they could be there for each other every step of the way.
