Jaeyeon's POV
i opened the door and saw shinyu standing in front of me with sweat on his forehead as he was panting.

"s-shinyu?! how-"

"can we talk? please don't say no jaeyeon...", he pleaded. i nodded, "s-sure... y-you can come in." he smiled and took off his shoes before stepping into the house.

i closed the door and asked, "h-have you eaten dinner..."

i asked that because i haven't.

"no... have you?", he asked and i shook my head too. "i-i have some ramen noodles, do you want some?", i asked as i opened the cabinet and took out a big pack of ramen.

he walked to me and took over the ramen, "i will cook for you. you can sit there and wait in the meanwhile."

"no it's fine...", i said as i went to take a big pot.

he then took the pot away and went to rinse it, "no really, i insist it jaeyeon." i went to take eggs from fridge as i asked, "do you want egg?" "yes please."

i took two and cracked it, putting them into a bowl and passed it to him. "here."

"thanks.", he said.

i went to set up the dining table. two bowls, two spoons, two chopsticks. i hope i didn't miss anything...

i sat down and watched his back figure as he cooked ramen.

broad shoulder, tall figure...

okay jaeyeon stop fantasising him.

"okay im done!", he said as he carefully brought the pot to put it at the center of the table. then we both started to enjoy the dinner.

"jaeyeon i—"

"can we talk about it after the meal?", i requested and he nodded.

"oh right... about last night.", he started the conversation as i sat down after cleaning the dishes.

i looked at him as he asked, "i heard that you cried and left the house. did i do something bad to you yesterday? please let me know honestly if i did, especially if it's illegal. if i deserve to be sent to the police, i will not rebel."

i gulped, did he think that he did a crime or some...

"i will be responsible for whatever i've done to you jaeyeon so please let me know...", he said.

"you... you did nothing serious.", i said as the grip on my chopsticks became stronger. "r-really? then can i know what i did to you, that made you cry?", he asked softly.

"you....", and i told him what happened, without any fabrication.

"i-i called you haejin?!", he asked and i nodded. "oh my youngjae im so sorry jaeyeon... gosh i was drunk, im so sorry jaeyeon really...", he apologised.

i shook my hands, "no really, it's okay..."

"wait, why did you cry then?", he asked. and i knew, i'm gonna be exposed. "oh shinyu i need to go to sleep now, you can go back home now byebye!", i said as i pulled him up and pushed him out of the house.

"w-wait!" i shut the door right in front of his face.

then he knocked on the door as he said, "i don't wanna walk the stairs!!!" i opened the door and said, "you can just use the lift without the access card, goodnight!"

then i shut the door once again.

how am i gonna face him tomorrow...

Jiyeon's POV
"why did she cry then...", my brother asked after explaining to me what had happened.

i smirked as i thought, 'dayum probably she likes my brother.' "what the hell.", shinyu said bluntly as he saw my smirk. i put a straight face and shrugged, "well i don't know, im not jaeyeon."

"then why were you smirking as if you know something?", he said with the tone that pissed me off easily. "then why would you ask me?!" and our bicker started.

"okay shin siblings!!! time to stop.", dohoon stopped us from starting a war in the house.

"hmph, annoying!", i said with a grumpy face. "you were smirking out of nowhere!", he attacked back. "you two are childish.", dohoon stated.

"shut up kim dohoon!" both of us said in unison.

before bed, i checked my phone and read jaeyeon's message.
