Jaeyeon's POV
it's 29th october.

i walked out of the class when suddenly my phone vibrated. i looked at phone screen to check who's the dialler, park wonbin?

i walked to a corner where no one would eavesdrop me and picked up the phone, "hello?" wonbin, on the other line said, "hey, im free today." "what happened to your business trip?", i asked, out of curiosity.

"aww are you caring for your fiance?"

"shut up park wonbin."

"ouch. but well, we got the project down earlier than expected so i came back.", he said.

and i just deadpanned with an "oh".

"oh? is that all? can't you say something like 'woah you're so cool wonbin im so excited to see you today!'?", he joked.

i scoffed, "no mood to joke with you. i can do that for you later. anyways what time are we meeting up?" "uhhh... when's your class ending?", he asked.

"my class ended. but uh i forgot the contract at home..."

"oh, uhhh it's okay, do you want a lift?" he asked. "it's fine, i'll try to be quick.", i replied. "sure then lunch together to celebrate our little victory?", he said and i hummed, "sure. see you then. bye."

"by—", i ended the phone call and quickly turned around to see no one's behind me.

i swear i felt like someone was watching me...

i saw jaeyeon walking away to somewhere rather quiet.

then i saw someone followed behind her.

could that be the 'spy'?

i followed the guy to see he's trying to eavesdrop jaeyeon's phone call conversation. i grabbed the guy by collar and covered his mouth as i pulled him into an empty class.

"say, what's your intention?!", i questioned the guy as soon as i locked the door.

he laughed, "i knew you two faked being apart." i rolled my eyes, "we may broke up, but i still care for her. did her father ask you to spy on her?!"

"now you know... lemme tell you something.", he said.

"you will never get jaeyeon."

he pushed me away harshly and ran out of the room. i slowly got up while hissing in pain, "ouch!"

just then jaeyeon walk passed the class, "shinyu?!" she looked around before running to me, "are you okay? w-who did this?! is it my father? or is it the spy? oh gosh i told you to not involve yourself in—"

i pulled her into a kiss.

then i broke the kiss and said, "im fine." she looked away and stood up, "w-well... since you're okay, i-i shall continue the act. b-bye." then she walked away.

i smiled and got up, walking out the room while texting in the group chat.
