According to an article of The Phoenix Recover Center (2023), Dissociative disorders associate problems with memory, identity, emotion, perception, behavior, and sense of self. It symptoms can cause malfunction in every area of mental functioning.

There are 5 types of disassociation:
Depersonalization, derealization, amnesia, identity confusion, and identity alteration.

"And...which type are you?" Hershey asked carefully.

Mc smirked and sit in front of her. Nasa isang maliit na kwarto lang sila, walang ibang gamit kung hindi ang dalawang upuan at ang ilaw sa ibabaw nila.

"Identity alteration." Mc answered.

"So...its,..uh..."

"A shift or alteration of personality."

Simpson, her boyfriend, didn't tell her that. She just met Mc. And Mc hates that Simpson hide it from her. Mc hates it because Mc hates her.

"Simpson and I agreed to share this body since we were young. We're entirely different. We already understood our situation. He'll take control during Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and half day Thursday while I get the rest."

"Ibig sabihin ang kasama ko..."

Mc glared at her.

"It was Simpson. He won't let me took over because he wants to spend time with you! I should be in Singapore now!" Mc hissed.

She stared at her boyfriend's body. She can't believe it. The man who used to look at her with love and treat her gently now staring at her with hate on his eyes and now, he's hissing at her.

"I...I don't believe you, Simpson. This is just a prank, right?"

His jaw clenched. Napalunok siya.

She was about to stood up when Mc held her shoulder to stay still. Her eyes widen.

"This is not a joke, young lady. I am Mc Sebastian, living in Singapore, a CEO. Your boyfriend is Simpson Sebastian, a psychiatrist, and lives here in the Philippines. Our alteration manifest in a way that we are living in a different time of our lives. He's
still 27, I am 30." Mc said firmly.

She can't digest the information. She's just staring at him. Trying to find the love, to seek for Simpson. No signs of love... because love and hate should be in entire different person.

"Love? What are we doing here?" He asked confusely.

From anger, his eyes now shows gentleness and love. Her boyfriend. Simpson.

Niyakap niya ito ng mahigpit at umiyak. The revelation is just too much for her.

Love and hate. But in their situation, there is hate in love and love in hate.
