”My bestfriend is here but I have to go. Entertain him, hmm?” Paglalambing ni Kuya Harvie niya.

She nodded and smiled. Kuya Harvie didn’t know that she liked his bestfriend even though it is obvious that his bestfriend like her Kuya. His bestfriend claims that they’re in a relationship but she doesn’t buy it. Kasi kung siya ang Kuya Harvie niya? She wouldn’t let Simpson out of her sight.

“Hello, Kuya! Do you want someone to talk to?” She asked after knocking on the door of the guestroom.

“I’m fine! But since I miss you, get in.”

The 18 year old Hershey Benjamin entered the room. Simpson is half naked while sitting on the edge of the bed. Medyo nanghinayang pa siya ng magsuot ito ng damit.

“Magtatagal ka ba dito, Kuya?” Tanong niya at umupo sa tabi nito.

”I’m leaving later. I visited Papa Dozen for 3 days as usual.” Nakangiting sabi nito dahilan para lumabas ang biloy nito sa mukha.

He is four years older than her. He is a kind gentleman, lahat na ng gusto niya sa isang lalaki na kay Simpson. ‘Yon nga lang gusto nito ang Kuya niya.

“Have you two kissed?” Hindi niya napigilang tanong.

Natigilan si Simpson saka bahagyang natawa. Ginulo pa nito ang buhok niya. Hindi niya napigilang mapatitig sa mukha nito. He looks so handsome whenever he’s happy.

”Why are you curious? Hmm, maybe because you’re a grown up now and you’re starting to get curious about that kind of thing.” Sabi nito na para bang iniintindi ang behavior niya.

No! She doesn’t wanna get understood like a teenager! She wants to know if they already kissed kung magseselos ba siya sa Kuya niya o hindi?

“I don’t believe your relationship with my brother.” She said firmly.

Simpson chuckle.

“Why? Do you think men and men can’t be together?”

Kumunot ang noo niya. Is he calling her homophobic?

“They can. They can love each other but I don’t believe that you love him, though.” Giit niya.

Simpson chuckle again.

“Bakit, Hershey? Sino ba ang gusto ko?” Hamon sa kanya nito.

She pursed her lips. She wanted to say, ‘Me! It should be me!’ but that would shock him.

“Let me rephrase it, sino ba ang gusto mong magustuhan ko?” Now, Kuya Simpson has a teasing smile on his lips.
Napalunok siya.

“Maybe your cousin?” Tanong nito.

Inis siyang napairap at iniwan ito.

“Hey!” Natatawang tawag ni Simpson at hinila siya bago paman siya makatayo.
Nanatili siyang nakatayo pero nasa pagitan na siya ng hita nito. He’s locking her with his long legs. Marahan pa itong nakahawak sa braso niya.

“Hershey likes me?” Patanong na sabi nito.

“You like my brother.” She answered instead.

“I do.”

That hurt her a bit. Simpson sighed and held both of her arms to catch her attention. Napalingon siya dito.

“You’re too young for me, Hershey. Plus, you’re like a sister to me. And I like your brother even if let’s say I don’t like him anymore, I can’t still be with you. Bro’s code.” Marahang paliwanag nito.

She sighed and nodded.

“I…I understand, Kuya.”

Ngumiti ito at ginulo ang buhok niya.
