About the Anime: (from Wikipedia) High school girl Hibiki Amami has a sixth sense of perceiving and interacting with ghosts and supernatural beings as well as talking with cats and other animals. She transfers to a new school, but none of her peers share that ability. She becomes friends with girls who put up with her antics. Class representative Narumi Inoue despises anything related to the occult but eventually becomes friends with Amami due to the latter's character. The story follows their everyday antics.
My Review: Re-Kan! Was the fourth anime that I watched. This is definitely one of my favourites and I'll always remember it.
I found it quite interesting due to the plot line and how it worked out. This anime definitely needs more recognition and I really hope they make a second season to it.
I liked the fact that there was much more to it than the paranormal aspect and it had a wide variety of things that kept the season going.
Rating: 9.5/10
Main Characters: Hibiki Amami: Can see and talk to ghosts after inheriting the ability from her late mother. She has a calm and friendly personality and always helps someone in need. She also attends Hanazuka Prefectural High School.
Narumi Inoue: One of Amami's friends. Has a disbelief in ghosts and is easily scared by them. It is also shown that her late grandmother is floating above her head. She is easily annoyed and upset.
Kana Uehara: Kana, as well as Hibiki's friends is able to see the ghosts using the camera of her phone. She uses this to interact with them and determines what Hibiki is doing at that current time.
Kyoko Esumi: Kyoko is Kana's best friend. She is also referred to as the flame-haired Messiah, but she never likes being addressed by that name. She uses her phone to see ghosts and likes to mess around with others.
Makoto Ogawa:Has a fascination with paranormal and ghost stories. She carries around a teddy and never lets it go. She is very kind and loves going out with her friends.
Kenta Yamada: He is the only boy in the group and tries to engage in conversations. Kyoko and him don't get along very well. He's fairly silly and is fascinated by everything around him.
