About the Anime: (by me) Yukiteru Amano attends a high school and has imaginary friends.

One day, when he's speaking to Deus Ex Machina and Murumuru (his imaginary friends) they allow him to use his phone as a Future Diary for 90 days.

However, there are eleven other Diary Users and they have to kill one another until only one remains. The remaining User will take Deus' place as God.

The Second Diary User, Yuno Gasai, is deeply in love with Yuki and will do whatever it takes to protect him.

My Review: I stumbled upon Mirai Nikki whilst looking through English dubbed anime. After the fist episode I couldn't stop watching it. The whole idea of it was perfect and the love triangle in between makes it so much better.

The character development was critical for the 'Survival Game' aspect and the Diary function varied throughout the episodes, creating tension between the characters.

I also loved the Abridged Series of it and would highly recommend both the Anime and Abridged Series.

By chance my friends happened to watch it too, so I managed to get to talk about it with them and it's actually perfect. The Abridged Series is where I got my username from, too.

I never actually realized how popular this series is until I finished it...

Main Characters: Yukiteru Amano: A fourteen year old boy who has a love for darts. He uses his phone as a diary and, after talking to Deus, it can predict the future. He becomes 'First' in the Survival Game and relies on Yuno to help him. He has brown hair and blue eyes and wears a hat.

Yuno Gasai: Yuno is the Second Diary Owner. She loves Yuki and is willing to kill anyone who tries to take him away from her. She has a strange past that has affected her, but uses her life solely to protect Yuki. Yuno has pink hair and pink eyes.

Minene Uryuu: Diary User number Eight. She is first shown at the school Yuki and Yuno attends in an attempt to kill them. She has purple hair and eyes and, later on, an eye patch. Despite her first impression, she cares deeply for those around her.

Keigo Kurusu: Fourth. He is introduced in the same episode as Uryuu. Keigo is a detective with a different side to him. He has a ponytail and brown eyes; same colour as his hair.

Deus Ex Machina: Thought to be a fragment of Yukiteru's imagination. He is the god of time and space and is awaiting the winner of the Game to take his place as he is no longer suitable for the position.

Murumuru: She is, simply, a girl who likes corn. She works alongside Deus and helps during the Game. There is, however, a dark twist to her.

Aru Akise: Yukiteru's classmate and friend. He has white hair and red eyes. He likes to solve things and helps in various situations. Him and Yuno despise each other and have no trust for the other's liking in Yuki.

Ouji Kousaka: Kousaka was originally Yuki's bully. However, they become good friends. (there's not much to say about him).

Hinata Hino: Hinata and Mao are best friends and work together. They try to help people surrounding them and appreciate the simple things. She has brown hair and eyes.

Mao Nonosaka: Hinata's best friend. Mao's life revolves around Hinata and she always stays by her side. Her emotions easily change and she is very easy to talk to.
