9:30 my phone read. Still a whole hour until I have to meet Brayden. I've been up since 7:45 though. I was unable to sleep from too much excitement.

Picking out my clothes was the easy part this morning. Kae came over last night to pick out my outfit.

Simple but cute. Black leggings, gray shirt, and a red and navy blue plaid shirt.

I had no idea what we were supposed to do today or how long we'd be hanging out for but I was excited nonetheless.

I got my check yesterday and the last of dads from his last job and was able to pay for all the bills except cable.

Ding! I picked up my phone to see a text from our group chat.

Fav in the OG's flashed across the screen.

Fav: One HOUR bitchhhhh

Kae changed her name in my phone... again.

Me: I know! I'm dying of excitement.

King: You two are to much too handle.

Fav: You love us Ace

King: ehhhh

I looked up to see Mazie walk in my room.

Me: g2g I'll hit you guys up later.

Fav: You better!!!!

King : Be safe ;)

"Hey, I didn't know you were up yet. "

" Yep. And I'm already dressed. "

Hunter came in next and just sat on my bed silently.

I gave him a small smile and he tried to return it but just couldn't.

I ruffled his hair and kissed his forehead. "You can talk to me. Family for life you know."

He nodded.

" When you're ready I'llbe waiting."

I stood up grabbing my keys. "You guys ready to go ?"

"Yea!" Mazie cheered in excitement.

As soon as we got there Hunter disappeared off to find Caden and Mazie trailed after them begging for them to play.

We got in Brayden's car and drove for about 5 minutes until I could no longer handle it.

" Can you tell me where we are going?"

" Did you eat yet?"

" Of course you would answer a question with a question. But no I didn't eat yet. "

"Your eye is healing well."

I️ rolled my eyes at his change of subjects.

He just did his signature smirk before focusing back on the road. About 20 minutes later we pulled up to Paul's Breakfast Bar. A.K.A the best breakfast place in town.

" First things first we need food."

We were given a table towards the back corner by the window.

" What are you getting?"

"Eggs, bacon, and a cheese omelet with a side of toast. And maybe a waffle. "
