Irene ruffled her hair from frustration of the paperwork in front of her, the Loki file sitting just meters away, mocking her. She glowered at the papers and pushed it to the floor, leaning her head on her arms. She's been trying to figure out where this Loki Variant was or why they were even running when they knew they'll get caught eventually.

Her ears picked up on hushed talking, and she knew one of them was the person she loathed to see or hear for that matter. She grinded her teeth and stood up, taking her Pruning stick with her. To hell with what Mobius said. She couldn't let this variant get away. She turned from her desk and walked towards where Loki was, Casey in tow with his cart. The younger man looked behind him when he heard the charge of the Pruning stick. His eyes widened. "I... Irene, please put the pruning stick down." Casey spoke. Loki perked up at the name and turned around to spot the blonde who glared at him.

"Oh, it's you again." Loki's voice sounded broken, but she only shrugged it off. She could care less about the raven haired man.

"I don't give two shits about what Mobius said, I don't trust Loki's and neither should he." She ran at the man, who dodged it with wide eyes, not expecting the blonde to actually fight him. If only he had his magic, he'd easily take her out. She twirled the pruning stick in her hand and swung it, which he caught the end of and pulled it out of her hand and away from her. If they were fighting they were fighting fair.

She scoffed and rolled her shoulders, taking her coat off, which revealed her light grey button up shirt. His grip on the Tesseract tightened as she threw her fists at him, he blocked and dodged her hits as he kept the glowing blue box out of her reach. As they continued to fight (more like he dodged so he could wear her out) Irene yelled out in pain as her hand hit the Tesseract. Loki panicked as he held his other hand up. "That was an accident!"

"That hurt damnit!" Irene shook her hand as she tried to ease the pain.

"I know. Here, you can hit me." Loki said, showing her his arm. She looked at him with pain. Both her and Casey were confused.

"What?" She rasped.

"You can hit me so we're even." Loki said. She shook her head.

"I'm not gonna hit you." She said. He exhaled, holding his chest.

"Well that's a relief, you would've hurt yourself again." Loki teased. Casey looked at him with fear.

"What are you doing? She'll prune you." Everyone at the TVA knew her hate for Loki's.

"No she won't," Loki said as the two started circling each other, the blonde glared at him as she held her throbbing hand. "She may want to, but I don't think she wants to disappoint Mobius. Am I right, Irene?" He asked. He knew she was bluffing, the Pruning stick was only to fight him with, not to actually Prune him. She hated that he could read her. Casey watched the blonde in concern, as he wanted to reach out to her or speak to her, but his thoughts were cut off when the doors slammed open. Irene looked towards B-15 and the other Minutemen along with Mobius entered the room. Whilst she was momentarily caught off guard, Loki grabbed her arm and pulled her to him as B-15 came at the duo with the pruning stick. Loki hit the button on his remote to his collar and two disappeared.
