Ayushi expressed her feelings with a trembling voice, "Mom, I love him." She released Aashika's hand and embraced her tightly.

"You never get upset and never scold us, so please don't change now," Ayushi pleaded.

Aashika remained silent, her mind filled with memories of Khushi's heartbreak when her boyfriend cheated on her. She remembered how Khushi suffered in silence, never sharing her pain with her parents. How khushi didn't tell them about her condition when she was staying away from her home.

Aashika blinked back tears and gently pushed Ayushi away.

"Why did you lie to me? You said you were going to a friend's house. Do you realize what could have happened if I had called your friend's parents? I never objected to your relationship, all I asked was for you to wait until marriage. Was that too much to ask? Why is it necessary to lie. "

Ayushi tried to hug her mother again, but Aashika stepped back.

"If I told you not to do something, I had my reasons. Do you know how upset we were when we caught you kissing Rihaan? I tried to understand, to be there for you, but you broke our trust. I always wanted you to feel comfortable sharing everything with me, but now I see that kids will never truly understand their parents' love. You think I will never understand you, so go ahead and do whatever you want," Aashika said before walking away, leaving Ayushi standing there.

Aryan, who had been listening to their conversation, put his spoon down and gaze at Ayushi, feeling angry at Rihaan for causing this rift.

He clenched his fist and began devising a plan for revenge.

Ayushi grabbed her hair in frustration. After calming herself down, she rushed to her room and locked the door.

Upon entering her room, her eyes landed on her buzzing phone. She answered Rihaan's call and started crying without exchanging any words.

"Don't cry, I will speak to your family. I understand why they are acting this way. I should have considered the consequences before advancing our relationship," Rihaan reassured Ayushi.

"Do you regret it, Rihaan?" Ayushi inquired softly.

Rihaan sighed upon hearing her question.

"No, babe, I don't. I love you, okay? My feelings for you haven't changed overnight. Take care of yourself. I know your father won't listen to me. I've spoken to my parents. Some wounds never fully heal. Your parents are just being overly protective. I'll talk to you later. Make sure to eat properly and don't fall ill over this matter," Rihaan said before Ayushi hung up and stared at her closed bedroom door.

Unintentionally, she fell asleep while sitting up. In the middle of the night, she felt someone gently laying her down. She tried to open her eyes but the comforting pat on her head caused her to drift back to sleep.

ONE WEEK LATER

AYUSHI'S P.O.V

I hurriedly got dressed in my suit and checked the time once more.

"It's nine o'clock. If I go to the dining table now, Dad will just leave for the hospital. He hasn't been going to work lately, only to Grandma's hospital."

"If he doesn't want to talk to me, then so be it. Who cares? I don't even want to talk to him now."

"God, who am I kidding? I don't want Mom and Dad to ignore me, but that's exactly what they're doing right now."

Glancing at the clock again, I sighed as it was already 9:45. I was going to be late for my first class.

Grabbing my bag, I descended the stairs. Mom was clearing the plates. I glanced at her, but she continued with her work, clearly trying to avoid me. She placed a plate of aalu pratha in front of me and then left the kitchen.

"Mumma!" I called out, stomping my feet. She turn back to look at me, disappointment evident in her eyes once again, making me feel guilty.

"I promise I won't get physical again. Please stop ignoring me," I pleaded.

She nodded and walked away, leaving me alone.

I pushed the pratha into my mouth and left the house. I couldn't ignore food. Mom was already upset, and if I ignored the food, things would only get worse.

Upon reaching college, I headed towards Rihaan's cabin. Finding him alone, I wrapped my arm around him, and the tears I had been holding back for so long finally flowed.

"Stop crying," he whispered, rubbing my back.

But it wasn't that simple. My parents had never ignored me before. My mom wouldn't even look at me now.

"My mom is ignoring me," I told him, feeling his grip tighten around me. He placed his lips on my forehead.

"I'll talk to her," Rihaan whispered. But I knew he had already tried, and my dad hadn't listened.

"Stop crying," he said, his rough voice making me look at him. His eyes were red. He wiped my tears and pulled me onto his lap after sitting on his chair.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have made love with you. I can't deny I was also feeling horny," he confessed.

"Don't say that. I seduce you every time. It's not just you. Isn't your mother angry too?"

He shook his head and rested his head on my chest.

"She was angry. They lectured me, but they didn't ignore me or anything... Ayushi, I'm so sorry."

"Don't apologize. I love you, you know. They'll start talking. They can't ignore me for long," I reassured him, but deep down, I doubted myself. They had never ignored me before, but now they wouldn't even look at me properly. They doesn't love me anymore.
