17. Sleep Walking

Y/n likes to wander the School for Evil at night. But there's one problem. She doesn't remember leaving her bedroom and she wakes up in a different spot every night. She is a sleepwalker

Sorry it's kinda long...

It felt like I was in a dream. Every night I woke up in a different room. Sometimes I woke up in the library,on the stairs, a classroom, or even the hallway. How I've not gotten caught by the Dean?I have no idea... if and when I do get caught I'm so dead. .

One night. I just finished getting ready for bed. Hoping it wouldn't happen again... I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep...

It started happening again... it seemed so real, but somehow wasn't.... I got up and walked out into the hallway.

"No no no no no! It's past curfew! Lesso is gonna kill me! I've gotta wake up!" I thought to myself.

I tried to snap out of it. It was like I was paralyzed...I passed the Dean's office. I heard a quill scratching away in a parchment. Crap Lesso's still up. Then I kept walking. I came to the Curses and Deathtraps classroom and sat down at a desk. I laid my head down and everything went black.finally I felt myself wake up...

I slowly open my eyes and looked around. I was in Lady Lesso's classroom. I turned around and There Lesso was, standing with her arms crossed . She was pissed.

"What do we have here? " Lesso asked.

"Lady Lesso I can exp-

"That you're out of bed after curfew? Really? I couldnt tell!" Lesso said then harshly grabbed my arm and dragged me to ,you guessed it: The Doom Room.

I didn't dare say a word on our journey down ...

Lesso did her usual: throw me into the chair. Used her magic to strap my wrists down, and then slowly walked over to her display of weapons... At this point I'm quite bored. I mean it's the same intro to her DoomRoom.yawn.

"You.you...you...you. Five nights in a row.you've snuck out after curfew... " Lesso says as she's admiring her weapons. It's literally the same intro every time ...

Ok 'penny wise', time to pick a new scare tactic.

Lesso has decided(not surprised) on an axe.
That's funny usually it's a dagger. Oh well.

Lesso has the axe at my throat and she slowly drags it upwards making me look directly into her eyes..

" I... can..explain..." I barely manage to cough out

Lesso gives me a look that says 'don't f-ck with me !'

She removes the axe from my throat and I take a deep breath...

" every night i have the same sorta dream where I'm walking around the castle, but i don't remember getting out of bed... I try to stop myself but it's like I'm paralyzed or something...."

Lesso waves her finger glow around and a yellow glow appears around me. Almost like it's scanning me for something...The color then changes to green. Interesting...

"What was that all about?" I asked

"It's my lie detector spell... if you were lying to me it would have turned red..." Lesso said.

"Lying to you would literally be a slow painful death wish...anyways, what is wrong with me?" I asked Lesso.

" you sleep walk... I've dealt with this a few times with students before. Some students even shoot spells when they sleep walk, which can be extremely dangerous. Luckily for you , your sleep walking consists of wandering around..." Lesso said...

"So what's your quick fix on this mess?"

"Simple. At night checks, I will place a spell on you to keep you from sleep walking, thus making you sleep normally.." Lesso said.

Lesso then let me go from the Doom Room. She walked with me back to my dorm.

She waved her finger glow and a beautiful ocean-blue light circled me. What is this a Disney movie or something.

"Goodnight. Let me know tomorrow at breakfast ,how you did. Okay?"

" yes ma'am. Thank you for not murdering me in the Doom Room earlier." I said

Lesso chuckled at my comment and closed the door on her way out..

For the first time in weeks I slept peacefully. No wandering at all!
