"VRINDA'S POV"

Taking my coat I left the court room and saw the client's family thanking Mr. Solly.

I was walking behind him looking at everyone and after a while we left for office.

"This was brilliant sir." I exclaimed

"Thank you ma'am. I'm sure you're gonna do more great if fresh case is assigned to you. You found all loopholes in a day again " He said

"Please don't call me ma'am. I'm junior" I told

"You're our boss's wife. I can't risk that" He replied and I sighed but then smiled.

"Though your boss helped me with one loophole again. He's.. Damn good, best at this, more then even people say" I said

"He surely is. It's like he was made for this. His keen nature is what inspires us all. " He smiled and I nodded.

The car reached AK building and I stepped out.

"Elliot can you inform Mr. Kapoor that I'm waiting for him in car. His phone is switched off" I told and he nodded

"You leaving somewhere ma'am? I thought the team would celebrate" Mr. Solly spoke

"I would've loved to celebrate sir. But some work" I told and he nodded.

Well, a month of the disaster. And here we were. Annoying the hell out of each other.

Sometimes I feel that Abhimaan only get peace when he hears yelling and curses from my mouth. But in this one month I've realized quite few things.

He isn't as heartless as he shows everyone. He cares. He cares a lot about mom and Aadi. He loves them. The little gestures he show towards mom like bringing her favorite ice cream or else sitting with her in garden at night, he is a Mamma's boy.

But he's totally opposite at work. A totally opposite personality. And The shooting daggers he throw at Rehaan and Zara haven't gone unnoticed by me.
But what surprised me the most was, not for once, I've had encounter with those two people. It's like something is stopping Rehaan from stepping near me. And I don't know why my heart says it's... Him.

Though I never understand why this man works so much. I mean a normal human being works nine to eleven right. I've seen him taking his Mac book, phone and leaving to the office room. I never know when he comes and sleep.

And I've noticed one more thing. He's strict regarding his office rules. He hates when the work given to a specific person is done by anyone else. I've seen him totally a man in hulk mode and a man who's just his mom's son in a day.

"Penny for thoughts" A voice interrupted my thoughts and I flinched.

"Daraate kyu ho aise (Why do you frighten me like this) " I said dramatically

Way too much dramatically.

I looked at the man looking at me with the expressions which clearly stated that he has been seeing this drama regularly now and then opened the door for me.

"I can do that for myself" I mumbled

"Sit Vrinda" He said and I sat inside.

"How was the hearing " He asked before closing the door.

He remembers. He remember small details.

"It was good. Mr. Solly told that I can lead the next case" I said

"Really? He's deciding this now ?" He asked raising a brow and I frowned

"Stop being so mean" I whined when he looked at Lucas.
