Chloe’s POV
Red was gone. I looked around our dorm in panic before turning to the others.
“Red went to get the book on her own,” I said, my voice trembling.
“What?!” Harley exclaimed, her eyes widening.
“She just left?” Elaine asked, concerned.
“Yes, and we need to go after her. We can’t let her do this alone,” I urged.
“Uliana and her gang are already on their way to get the book,” Hadley said, standing up. “We have to move fast.”
We quickly gathered our things and rushed to Merlin’s office. Once there, we paused outside to come up with a plan.
“Alright, Hadley and Harley, you two keep watch outside. Be on the lookout for Merlin” I instructed.
“Got it,” Hadley nodded, pulling Harley along.
The rest of us slipped into the office. The enchantments were tricky, but we managed to navigate them.
Harley pov
“have you learned anything about our parents Hadley asked quietly, glancing at Harley.
“a little bit. Why?” I replied, my eyes scanning the surroundings.
“ I learned something too. I found out that both of our parents were bullied in school and had terrible relationships with their families,” Hadley said softly. “They do love us, just in their own way.”
I was silent for a moment before nodding. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. It’s just hard to see sometimes.”
Chloe pov
Inside, we worked quickly but carefully. Elaine managed to disarm the final enchantment just as we heard voices approaching.
“Guys, we need to hurry!” I whispered urgently.
“Almost there,” Gavin muttered, his focus intense.
Hadley pov
I suddenly had an idea. “What if we go back in time after this? You know after we stop Bridget’s prank and maybe… help our parents?”
“Go back in time?” Harley raised an eyebrow.
“Yes. We could fix everything,” I said, my eyes shining with determination.
Harley hesitated, then nodded. “Alright, if it means that much to you, I’m in.”
Chloe pov
Back inside, we finally found the book. Just as we grabbed it, the door burst open, revealing Red, Uliana, Hades, Maleficent, Morgie, and Hook.
“What are you doing here?” Uliana sneered.
“We’re stopping you,” Red said firmly, stepping in front of us.
Uliana laughed. “You think you can stop us?”
Red opened the book, and suddenly, Uliana and her gang were frozen in place.
“They had bad intentions,” Red explained, looking at us. “The enchantment froze them.”
We quickly made our way out, clutching the book tightly. Outside, Hadley and Harley joined us, relief washing over their faces.
“Is everyone okay?” Hadley asked, her eyes scanning each of us but mostly on eliane
“We’re fine,” Elaine reassured her. “But we need to get out of here.”
As we hurried away, Red filled us in on what happened. “When they opened the book, it sensed their intentions and froze them.”
“Good thing we got it first,” Gavin said, grinning.
As we reached a safe spot, Hadley looked at red and asked her if he and sister could use her watch to go back in time to see why their parents got divorced
“Yes,” red nodded. “But first, we need to stop Bridget’s prank and make sure she doesn’t turn evil.”
Everyone agreed, and we set to work. After a few hours of planning, we were ready. We successfully stopped Bridget’s prank and saved her from turning evil.
After we went back to the present and saw that it worked red handed Harley the Pocket watch
Now go save your parents red said as Elaine and Gavin spoke up
And we are coming with you Gavin said and the twins nodded
