(A.N. This story does not follow the original storyline in the beginning. Characters can have other skills and/or variations of them. There will be romance later on but for the first chapters it is not so prominent.)

"Ahh, I'm so bored. Nothing interesting has happened since the defeat of Ivarage. The only challenges I have to overcome are the tons of paperwork i have to do. Where's the action, the excitement?"

Currently we see a blue-haired person sitting behind a desk doing his paperwork while complaining about being bored.
This individual is known as the demon lord Rimuru Tempest. To Rimurus dismay not much has happened in the last 20 years of his life. As a resulted he currently has a big problem... he's bored as hell.

"Ciel, do you have any idea how I can entertain myself? If this continues I'll die of boredom."

Ciel his ever loyal and trusted partner thought of a solution for Rimurus problem. After thinking for a while, a solution to cure Rimurus bordem was found.

<Answer: Master could use his skill

to turn back time to be able to experience his adventure again.>

Rimuru first shocked by the suggestion soon had doubts, but who wouldn't?

"Wait thats possible?!"

"Sometimes I forget what I am capable of. But even though it sounds interesting, all my subordinates, friends, you and I have worked a lot and hard to achieve this peaceful world. If I were to go back in time now, wouldn't it be unfair to everyone who helped me in building Tempest?"

As he continued to think about Ciel's suggestion and what other options he had to entertain himself, Ciel came up with a solution once again.

<Master could, as an alternative, create a parallel universe and go to the time he desires. With this approach, our world would be unaffected and you could do whatever you want in the parallel world without any consequences>

Hearing this, Rimuru became excited and begins to think about what he could do. Where he would like to travel back, what changes he want's to make and so on.

"Hey Ciel, would it be possible to go back around 2000 years?"

<Yes it's possible to go back 2000 years but why would Master start that far of in the past?>

"Well you see, I would like to become an ancient demonlord. If I became one it would be possible to rebuild tempest in the future faster because of my influence and the reaction of all the people who I know and those who help me build Tempest would be funny to watch once they find out that I am an ancient demonlord."

Rimuru after a while still had a problem.

"Hey Ciel, wouldn't it be bad if I just disappeared like that? I mean, Tempest needs me here to function. It could probably go without me for 2 or 3 weeks, but it would cause problems in the long run."

<Master doesn't have to worry about anything. With the help of
[Paralel Existence] he can create a clone of himself which will stay here to do all the work. Nobody will notice anything and everything will remain as it is>

"Ciel, you're a genius. What would I do without you?"

<Praise me more Master>

"Hai Hai you are the best Ciel"

<Thank you Master *happy Ciel noices*>

After creating a [Paralel Existence] and explaining the plan to it, it looked at Rimuru unimpressed and questioned him.

"So you created me for the sole purpose of taking over your work while you're away having fun?"

Rimuru just looked at him sheepishly and nodded.
The [Paralel Existence] wasn't amused AT ALL.

"So Ciel please start the preparations for our departure."

After some time, the preparations for Rimuru's new adventure were completed and he got ready to go. After Ciel questioned where Rimuru wants to go in the other timeline, he first has to think about where he wants to start. After some consideration, he decided to start in the Jura Forest because that is the place he knows best. However, he hoped that he would not encounter the unsealed Veldora as he would most likely be looking for a fight. Rimuru didn't necessarily had interest in fighting as soon as he arrives. So in order to not get involved in any fights after his arrival he came up with the following plan to avoid any unnecessary fights for now.

The Plan:
1. go back in time
2. suppress my presence
3. find out my location
4. get informations on the current world
5. look for a shelter
6. locate the Super-Sorcery Kingdom which is responsible for the death of milim baby dragon
7. stop Milims rampage and impress Guy
8. become a Demonlord

Easy right? Now only one thing is left to do.

"Ciel is everything ready?"

<Yes initiate the time travel. We go back in time in>

And so Rimuru vanished.
The only thing left in his office was his [Paralele Existence] with a pained look on his face.
