Literary fiction is not exactly a genre I read a lot but a book belonging to the same ended up on this shelf. Let's get into that.

Conversations With Friends is NOT a romance. It displays a romantic relationship or two but it is NOT a romance. It is sharp, it is cruel at times, it is heartbreaking, it is confusing, it is a mess of every damn thing but that is the point of it all.
Or at least, that's how I interpreted it. The characters are complex people who are very flawed. So much that it is the main focus of this book. Lol. Anyways, I found that I just cannot get this story out of my head. It's been like a year (?) since I read it and it has forged a permanent cave for itself in my brain.
This is not a book for everyone. But if you want to give it a try, go ahead. Let me know what you thought about it.

Animes, mangas, Cdramas, Kdramas were pretty much my entire teenage. My obsession with Kdramas has kind of come to a staggering end but I still love my C-dramas and animes and ESPECIALLY mangas & manhwas. Here's a few 5-star manga reads :

Oh, what I wouldn't give to read it for the first again! This manga follows the premise of a young girl who's moved from the countryside to the city with big ambitions. She's just a sweetheart and experiences highschool and all the complicated emotions that come with it.
I have only one thing to say.
WHERE THE FUCK IS MY SOUSUKE? I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR 18 YEARS NOW. DESTINY, FATE, CUPID, WHATEVER, YOU NEED TO SERIOUSLY SPEED TF UP.

NAME : KIYOKU, YAMASHIKU, MODOKASHIKU [VOL I. & II.] CODE NAME : HOT-MALE-LEAD-PLUS-MY-STYLE-OF-COMEDY-EQUALS-PERFECTION AUTHOR : NAO ARIHARA RATING : 5 STARS
Another slice of life kind of manga set in highschool but this one focuses more on the leads' romance with a comedic twist, of course.
If readers liked crush culture, there is 95% chance you will like this one too. There's no particular plot specifically, as is the case with most shoujo mangas but the episodal nature of this is what makes it so good.
