After leaving Lance's room and going to his own, Keith wasn't feeling able to think properly about everything that had happened in less than an hour.

The way Lance was clearly jealous of him with James, how he confronted Keith about his new friendship with the other pilot, how he grabbed Keith and kissed him like he always wanted to do that...

No, it wasn't true.

Lance was upset about Allura's death and did something that made no sense. He did it without thinking clearly and much less with whom he would do it, since he did it with Keith.

Shit, Keith thought as he stared at himself in the mirror for the millionth time after changing his clothes three times. Nothing seemed to fit him, after all he only had his clothes that he wore in space for a long time, the Blade armor, the Garrison uniform and the paladin armor. In short, he had no clothes. Much less clothes for a party - or a date.

He groaned in frustration and rubbed his eyes before starting to think of a solution to his little problem of not having proper clothing. So, his first thought about who to turn to for help was the easiest help he could get, in this case, Shiro.

He thought of Pidge after thinking of the older man, but she was clearly busy with her own shit about the party. Hunk could certainly help him out, but he should be with Shay or Romelle at those times, helping them get ready as well.

Maybe Coran could help him too, after Keith realized that Shiro would probably be busy too, especially with Curtis around. But what if Coran couldn't help him either? He would be lost... The red paladin found himself wishing for Lance's help, but he wouldn't do that to the Cuban just to look good for James.

Defeated, Keith huffed loudly and prayed mentally that Coran could help him, even though he was having a hard time thinking about Allura too. But maybe this, distracting himself with Keith, could help him get his mind off of the princess as well.

Being pulled from his thoughts by three knocks on his door, Keith raised his eyebrows and, not caring that he was shirtless, walked over to the access panel and allowed none other than Matt to enter. Keith's face only became more confused and curious with the appearance of his friend's brother there, out of nowhere. But since he already knew the man, Keith didn't mind running to his bed and grabbing his black shirt and putting it on.

"Oh, shit..." Matt grumbled and looked away from Keith and his naked torso, looking somewhere in the room other than the paladin. "Forgive me, I-I didn't know you'd be like... this..."

"Matt?" He looked the redhead up and down, noticing that he was apparently already wearing the clothes people wear to parties. "What's wrong? What are you doing here?"

Matt shook his head, brushing away the red strands that had fallen across his forehead and finally looking at Keith again, his eyes now fixed on his face and no longer on his body - no matter how much his brain told him to look down.

"Hmm, actually, nothing bad happened. I just..." he swallowed hard and clasped his hands together in front of him, looking nervous, Keith could see that clearly. "I just wanted to see how you were, but if you're busy changing or with someone else around here, I can-..."

"Don't be ridiculous, Matt." Keith laughed at the way Matt sped up his words and rolled his eyes. "There's no one here, I was just looking for a good outfit for the party, but I ended up forgetting half my good clothes in space..."

The Italian laughed at Keith saying it was okay for him to be there - that's what he understood - and scratched the back of his neck, embarrassed.

"Did you have any good clothes in space?" he asked sarcastically, his eyebrow arched at Keith.
