Lance could feel like he was going to die at any moment that night as soon as Keith took them out of the party room.

Their hands were still clasped together, Keith guiding them through the hallways not too quickly but not too slowly either. Lance was grateful for that, because he would have surely fallen hard to the ground after passing out if Keith hadn't been holding him.

And Keith, he looked to the sides every time he was about to turn into a new corridor, as if to see if the path was clear and if there was no one nearby who would see them and start thanking them for their services in favor of the Earth.

Lance found this amusing and cute, because since Keith was in front of him, he could have a clear view of the red paladin's mullet gently swaying through the air.

The Cuban had noticed before, but now he allowed himself to look and observe that Keith had released his hair from the ponytail after returning from Pidge's room and now, Lance had the beautiful sight of how the strands at the nape of his neck were longer than they had been in a while - a long while.

"Okay, I need you to promise not to tell anyone what I'm going to show you." Keith whispered after they stopped near a door that had a huge sign that only employees were allowed to pass through it.

Lance blinked as Keith stood in front of him, now holding Lance's hand with both of his and stroking the back of his hand gently, feeling the softness of his dark skin.

He hadn't even noticed that they had to climb a few steps of stairs until they were in front of that door.

"Okay. Okay, I promise." Lance whispered back, nodding and looking directly into Keith's glowing purple eyes, seeing him smile and the corners of his eyes crinkle.

Then Keith smiled happily and blushed before taking a key card from his pants pocket and passing it through the identification control, thus making the doors open and move to the side.

As soon as the two of them were able to catch a glimpse of what was on the other side of the door, Lance could feel his chest heat up and his eyes widen as he saw in front of them the empty runway of one of the ATLAS ships, giving them the perfect view of the sunrise just further away from where they were.

Lance could even feel the light wind blowing against their faces as they passed through the doors, looking to the side and laughing briefly as he saw Keith's black hair flying in the wind and hitting from side to side in his face due to his bangs that were already quite long.

Still with their hands together, Keith squeezed Lance's and pulled him along the little track that was literally on the roof of the ATLAS, where the view was beautiful. When they reached the edge, where Shiro would warn was dangerous due to the height from there to the ground, Keith sat down and looked up, inviting Lance to sit with him, next to him.

"Isn't it dangerous up here?" Lance asked, even though he was crouching down and sitting on the runway railing right next to the Korean, their thighs touching and their hands still clasped above them.

"Yes, but so what?" Keith raised an eyebrow, continuing to caress the dark skin of the Cuban's hand with his thumb and turning his face to look at the first rays of the sun rising over the mountains in the distance. "It's beautiful either way."

Lance didn't look at the sun starting to rise in the background of the view they were there to see, no.

His eyes were completely and fixedly on Keith's profile, seeing how beautiful he looked even in profile and even more beautiful when he had a glow in his unique purple eyes as he watched the sunrise.
