🌊 Chapter 6 - Inclusion 🌊

Sonic pov

"All right. I decided to join the crew," I said sadly. At the same time, I lowered my head and put my ears back.

I didn't want to lose my freedom, not anymore. But I didn't want to end up in the water. And I didn't want to leave Tails here.

"Good hedgehog," Shadow said, putting his saber down. I got drunk. It reminds me of him.

After he left, Tails ran up to me and hugged my side.

"Sonic what's going on? Sonic?" he asked worriedly.

I looked at him and smiled softly. I'm sorry you're taking care of me.

"It's okay bro" I said hugging him back.

"Okay," he said.

"Hey. We are still here," said the white bat.

I looked at them. Tails pushed me and stood next to me.

"Okay so I'll show you around the ship and get you on board," she said. "My name is Rouge the Bat. I think you already know Tails."

"Yes," I said.

"Okay," she said pointing to the red Echidna, "This is Knuckles the Echidna."

"I don't believe you, hedgehog," he said angrily. Hell, another one to call me a hedgehog. I rolled my eyes inwardly.

"And this is Amy Rose," Rouge said, pointing to the pink hedgehog.

"I'm glad," Amy said cheerfully, "and thanks for the rescue."

"Thanks too," Rouge said, slamming her elbow into Knuckles' side.

Knuckles sighed and turned the game around, "Thank you."

"You're welcome and my name is Sonic the Hedgehog," I said a little happier as I said my name pointing my thumb at myself.

"WAIT?! ARE YOU SONIC THE HEDGEHOG?! THE HERO OF THE SEVEN SEAS?!" said all three at once. Tails and I covered our ears.

"Yes," I finally said.

"Wow," said Amy and Rouge. Rouge was the first to come to her senses.

"Okay let's go on a tour," she said and turned around. Knuckles and Amy went about their business.

I followed her and Tails followed me.

Shadow pov

I came to the cabin and sat down at the table.

I kept going back to the blue hedgehog in my mind. I furrowed my brows. I didn't like the look of the hedgehog.

At first I was happy that he chose to join the crew instead. But when I noticed how half it was, my mood dropped. And it didn't get better even when I told Knuckles to untie it. Like a hedgehog after being untied, they fell to his side and he kept looking at the floor. And his mind seemed elsewhere. I growled in annoyance.

My thoughts were interrupted by the voice of my crew.

"WAIT?! ARE YOU SONIC THE HEDGEHOG?! THE HERO OF THE SEVEN SEAS?!" they shouted.

I suddenly realized something. I opened my eyes and leaned back in my chair.

Wait. They said Sonic the Hedgehog. So the most famous hero is on my ship.

I smiled. So his name is Sonic. Nice name.

Rouge pov

I led Sonic around the ship. I showed him the kitchen. Next, I showed him the cargo area and Tails' workshop. Since it's close there. I showed him his cabin along with Knuckles and Tails.

"Honey," I said, getting his attention. "Since we don't have an extra bed, you'll be sleeping in a hammock."

"I do not mind. I'll feel like I'm on my ship," Sonic said with a smile.

Both Tails and I laughed.

Next, I showed mine and Amy's cabin and the doctor's room. And lastly I showed him the door to the captain's cabin. He just nodded.

I led him on deck.

"Sonic I have yet to incorporate you. So Shadow is the captain and you have to listen to him," I said.
"I'm in charge of following the rules and taking care of the crew. Knuckles is in charge of raising the anchor and setting the sail. Amy is in charge of sails and saber sharpening. And Tails is in charge of the basket and the inventions. We take turns cooking.'

"Okay," Sonic said.

"Now what are you going to do," I said and began to think.

Something occurred to me.
"You can take care of the warehouse supplies and the weapons supplies."

"Okay, I'll do it," he said with a smile.

I fell in love with it during the time I was converting it. She already considers him family.

Tails region.

I'm so happy Sonic is staying. But I want to know why he was sad before.

When he told me nothing was wrong, I didn't believe it. He smiled at me, but I could see pain in his eyes.

I went with Rouge and Sonic to the parade to watch him.

Sonic pov

I'm happy to be in charge of the warehouses. Better than something by the water.

I was just lying in my hammock looking up at the ceiling and listening to the sounds.
I heard annoying Knuckles really loud snoring. I sighed. How Tails can sleep.
