Sarah walked out of the Salva building with her head hung low. Today was such a flop. She hadn't expected things to turn out the way it did and she wouldn't have planned a party had she known about his mother's death anniversary. After the small scene, everyone had scurried out of the venue to save themselves from the awkward situation, leaving Andy and her with the barely touched cake. She'd packed the cake in the box and placed it on the secretary's desk outside Henry's office before heading to the lift.

Sarah didn't go to see Henry no matter how bad she wanted to because he already had Cindy by his side. She wouldn't know what to say to him anyway. She took out her phone wanting to call him but she didn't have enough courage. After typing and deleting messages four times, she finally sent a message.

[sorry about earlier. I really didn't know.]

She wandered in the streets, kicking little pebbles on her way while replaying the earlier scene in her head over and over. She thought about all the beautiful moments she had imagined and how romantic she hoped the night would end. And of all the possible outcomes, it had to be such an awful one. Why was it so difficult to make things go according to plan?

After unknown time, she found herself standing outside the Prism Tower; another iconic building in the city. By chance, she spotted a familiar red Ferrari in the parking lot. Upon closer inspection, she found out the car was parked on the spot reserved for the disabled. She walked towards the car and gently knocked on the window. Robert rolled down the window and looked at her with barely opened eyes. He must have been sleeping because there were creases on the left side of his face.

"What?" he asked groggily. He blinked two times and scratched his head, trying to figure out what day it is. "Wait... Sarah? What are you doing here?" his alcohol-flavored breath hit her face.

"It's good that you can still recognize me," Sarah scolded and suddenly slapped the top of his head, earning a grimace from him. "How much did you drink that you can't even park properly. And you better not tell me you drove here like this."

"Sorry, mom," Robert said, placing his palm on the spot Sarah just slapped. He looked like an an aggrieved child seeking justice from his mother. He looked at her with pitiful eyes, mumbling, "Raising Glen really did turn you into a mother."

Sarah ignored his comment and continued her motherly interrogation, "How did you get here? And why are you so drunk?"

"Please don't remind me," he groaned and leaned back in his seat, rubbing his eyes. "Those old folks can't negotiate deals without taking a couple of drinks. Aaand those folks sure can drink. They fed me so much alcohol that I nearly passed out. I sneaked out and left my assistant to deal with them. I came here to sleep it off." He gave Sarah an expectant gaze like a child waiting for praise. "Aren't I smart?"

"Smart, my foot!" Sarah smacked his head again. "what kind of behaviour is that?"

His phone rang because he could answer, interrupting their banter. Sarah couldn't see the caller but Roberts face turned serious at the sight of the caller. It seemed that wasn't someone he enjoyed talking to.

"What?" Robert furrowed his brows as he listened intently to the other person on the line. "Talk? Talk about what? I'm sorry about everything, but I already told you I do not want to be involved in your business any longer." He was quiet again, listening, and then continued, "Listen I already feel bad for going behind my friend's back and getting you here. Don't ask me for more." He got louder as anger seeped into his voice, "Besides, I've already got you and respectable reason to leave Boston. Ms. Morgan, it isn't my fault that you messed up in the first place! Figure your shit out and don't get me involved!" He hung up without giving the caller a chance to continue.
