He was snapped out of a flashback in less than a minute as he felt someone grab his upper arm and pull him down the hall.

It was Freddy who pulled him out of it. Apparently, he had froze in the middle of the hall while in his dream-like state.

"We need to grab the essentials, we're leaving!" He yelled through the loud sounds of flames.

The fire was starting to rise to the second story, making traveling downstairs very risky.

"Freddy, the First-Aid Kit and camping supplies are downstairs!" Bonnie reminded.

Freddy cursed in frustration. "I'll get it! Focus on taking taking personal belongings, and get the kids out!" He called out, hurrying towards the stairs.

Bonnie forced himself to remain as calm as possible as he ran and opened the door to their room, seeing his children in clear distress.

"Both of you stay here, I have to get our stuff." He tried to keep his voice low and steady.

It did nothing to calm Daisy down as the girl finally began scream crying. Gregory stared at her at a loss of what to do.

"Take care of your sister, Gregory! I'll be right back!" He called before closing the door, not having the time to comfort them.

He locked the door before leaving so that they were safer from the fire and left to grab a few clothes, weapons, and two big sleeping bags.

When he made it back to their room, he finished grabbing what they needed, but now faced a new problem.

How would they get out?

The stairs were unusable at this point, which left the window.

Bonnie unlocked the latch and slid open the window facing the front of their house. He grew more unsure, seeing how high up the fall was.

He started by tossing their luggage off, until all that was left was the children and himself.

Just a moment later, he saw Freddy rush out of the house holding a few things of his own. He saw the bags on the ground and glanced up to their room, making eye contact with Bonnie.

Freddy held out his arms and nodded to him, silently letting him know he would catch them.

Bonnie took a deep breath before turning back to the kids, ushering them forward.

"I'm going to let you out the window, your dad will catch you." He explained. Daisy immediately backed away and shook her head fearfully.

Bonnie sighed in frustration and turned to Gregory.

"You go first, Greg. So your sister knows it's safe."

Gregory seemed just as terrified, though he was old enough to know this was their only option. He nodded hesitantly and let his dad lift him off the ground.

Bonnie wasted no time pulling him out of the window and dropping him.

Freddy caught him quickly and set him down, bracing himself for the next one.

Bonnie reached out to Daisy, who was still very hesitant, but seemed more comfortable approaching him now.

He lifted her gently and tried dropping her, but the girl dug her claws into his shoulders, still too fearful to let go.

Bonnie hushed her and pulled her into a reassuring embrace, doing his best to remain calm for her.

"You're gonna' be okay, baby... I'll be right behind you." He whispered in her ear.
