A/U: This takes place a few years after the first shot. Incidents happened in between but aren't mentioned {It's a oneshot book, remember y'all}

The night was wild and windy and darkness had already spread her black cloak all over the area.

The car rumbled on, it's engine bringing the only source of sound in the otherwise silent environment. The car was being driven at top speed, as if the occupants were trying their best to flee from someone or somewhere. It didn't dare stop or even slow down, as it went on in it's journey down the path, towards a deeper, darker area surrounded by too many trees and an eerie creepy ambience. Soon, it was lost amidst the trees and leaves and the pitch black darkness.

The vehicle finally came to a hault in front of a house. It was all dark and not a gleam of light was visible from the insides of the house. The driver swerved the car through the open gates and took it inside, stopping it at one corner of the lawn. Soon, a man emerged out of the driver's seat. He hastily went around the car and opened the passenger's seat, bringing another man out of it and quickly, the two figures ran towards the house, opening the front door, getting in and locking the door from inside.

The two men didn't stop, as they scrambled upstairs in the dark, not daring to switch on a single light. They opened the door of a bedroom and upon entering, locked the door from inside and collapsed on the floor. They were panting nonstop, sweating profusely, breathing heavily, their chests heaving up and down groping for more air and hearts throbbing hard against their ribs.

"J-Joong..a-are you o-okay? A-Are you h-hurt-" One of them asked, scooting closer to the other one and scurrying his hands over his entire body, looking for any kind of injuries

"Hwa...c-calm down...I-I'm fine..." came the reply, as the speaker placed his hand over the former's restless ones and placed them on his lap.

"B-But y-you-"

"Sweetheart I promise I'm fine," Hongjoong replied, as he edged closer to Seonghwa, and with his right hand, gently swiped away his hairs sticking to his sweaty forehead, and placed a light kiss on his forehead.

"I-It's all my f-fault," Seonghwa said, his voice choking slightly, tears blurring his vision.

"Hwa baby n-no..."

"Y-You are i-in trouble b-because of me," Seonghwa whispered, the tears finally rolling down his cheeks, "H-He wanted you to k-kill me...b-but you didn't a-and tried to pr-protect me and n-now you're in trouble....I-I am t-the c-cause of all th-this-"

"Hwa. Hwa. Calm down baby...stop crying," Hongjoong spoke as he pulled the crying boy into his arms, placing his head against his chest, "My life was worse than this before I met you...and no baby! You're not the reason of any of my troubles...you're the reason why I am even alive..."

"B-But..."

"Sshhh..."

Hongjoong got up from the floor and picked up Seonghwa in a bridal style, taking him to their bed and placing him on it with care. He then quickly crawled up and took the place beside him, pulling him into his arms and whispering sweet words into his ears. Seonghwa wrapped his hands around his waist, hiding his face into his chest, his eyes still swollen and teary, as Hongjoong embraced him tightly and placed consecutive kisses on his head. The wind outside rumbled on, the anticipation of a storm was valid and the night was definitely getting darker.

"J-Joong?"

"Yes darling?"

"W-What if they f-find us here?" The fear in the boy's eyes made Hongjoong's stomach churn and heart thump faster in anxiety. Not for himself. But for his love.
