I was lost in my thoughts, blabbering while watching the K-drama Queen of Tears, earbuds firmly plucked in my ears and iPad resting comfortably against pillow in front of my eyes. I was sprawled on the bed, chin resting on my palm, elbow digging into the mattress.
"Lavi, stop crying!" A loud voice jolted me from my K-drama reverie. I pulled out my earbuds to see Shanaya, my roomie, looking at me with a mix of concern and frustration.
"Give me a moment! My hubby just punched Eun-seong—Ohhh God, Baek Hyun-woo is too hot for this scene!" I started fanning my face, which was turning red from blushing and grinning at the 'too hot to handle' scene unfolding on my screen.
Life is so unfair. I deserve my own Baek Hyun-woo who could punch anyone for me. But alas, life isn't a K-drama, it's a trauma.
It makes me so sad that I can't just slip inside my iPad and live in the world created by the writer.
It's just so heartbreakingly beautiful.
