My first and last (MarkRen)

By Monday morning Renjun has made a decision, he hopes it will come off as a friendly gesture because that's what it is, but in a small way he'd like to get to know Mark a little better too.

He walks Yuyi to class as usual and Mark is of course there to greet them.
"Good morning." He says sweetly to both.
"Good morning." They say almost together. Yuyi heads to his locker while Renjun stops by Mark.
"So Mr. Lee, what time do you get out of here every day?" He asks as nonchalantly as possible.
"Oh, uh, usually around quarter to four, unless I have a lot of grading to do." He says with a shrug.
"Hmm, well, I'd like to buy you coffee, as a thank you for the other night. Would you want to meet me?" Mark almost freezes up.
"Uh, well, you don't have to buy me anything." He notices Renjun's frown and smiles.
"But if you would really like to, then I would like to meet you?" Renjun nods with a smile.
"I would, we can meet at that Dream cafe, not too far from here? 4:15?" Mark has to try to contain his smile so it doesn't split his face.
"Sounds nice. I'll be there." Renjun nods and walks to his son to see if he needs help before he goes since it seems to be taking him a long time at his locker, but he's just talking to a little girl of the same age.
He quickly says good bye and heads out, waving at Mark as he walks by.

When the kids go to lunch he calls Jeno and Jaemin to his room.
"He invited me for coffee." He blurts out as soon as they enter.
"Like a date?" Mark scoffs.
"I'm sure his son will be there since it's after school. Right?" Jaemin shakes his head.
"Maybe, maybe not. But you need to be prepared for both. Make sure you look handsome but not too over the top so Yuyi doesn't wonder why." Mark shakes his head.
"I'm going after work, I don't have time to go change anyway. So either way, I'll still be dressed like a teacher." Jeno shrugs.
"Maybe he's into hot teachers?" Jaemin slaps his arm.
"Well then he'd be after us silly." He says cutely. Jeno giggles at his husband while Mark just rolls his eyes.
"Why did I tell you guys?" He asks while shaking his head.
"Because you love us and we are the number one Markren supporters." Mark furrows his brow.
"Markren?" He questions.
"Yes dummy, that's your ship name. Just like we are Nomin." Mark chuckles.
"Ok, get back to class now." Jaemin blows him kisses while Jeno rolls his eyes fondly.

"Please Chenle? It's only for like an hour." He sighs.
"I can't, what's so urgent, you've taken him to work before?" Renjun sighs.
"I kind of asked Mark to meet me for coffee and I wanted it to be just the two of us." He says quickly waiting for the squeal.
"What? Oh my god, wait let me send a quick text. I can't believe you asked him on a date already?" Renjun chuckles.
"It's not really a date. I told him I want to thank him for his kindness and buy him coffee." Chenle giggles.
"Without Yuyi there, it's pretty much a date." Renjun scoffs.
"Yeah but if you can't watch him, he will be there. Everyone else I know is busy." Renjun says with a pout.
"Ahh, got it. Jisung can do it. He was leaving work early for a dentist appointment and should be done by 3:30. Don't worry, it's just a checkup. He won't be in any pain or anything." Renjun sighs in relief.
"That's great. Thank you guys." Chenle giggles.
"You can thank us by having a nice time. No pressure, no stress, just enjoy yourself." Renjun smiles softly at his friend's kind words.
"Thank you Lele. I'm going to finish my work now so I can be ready in time."

He finishes his work an hour early so he has time to make himself presentable. He goes to pick up Yuyi like usual. He spots him right away as he runs to his car. Renjun smiles at his cute happy face. He loves that boy so much. He catches a glimpse of Mark but he's talking with another student. Just another endearing thing about him. He's so attentive to his kids, it makes him feel all kinds of warm and fuzzy.
"Hi, papa." He says cutely as he gets in and buckles his seatbelt.
"How was your day Yuyi?" He asks as he starts driving away.
"It was fun. I made new friends today too." Renjun smiles proudly.
"That's great, hey I have somewhere to go in a little while. How would you like to hang out with uncle Jisung for a bit?" Yuyi claps his hands excitedly.
"I love uncle Jisung." Renjun smiles, so thankful for his support group.
