Third Person's Point Of View
Colet finishes taking a bath, the warm water helping to wash away the lingering stress of the day. She steps out of the shower, towel-drying her hair as she checks the time. It's already 4 PM. She still has time to get ready.
Her "agenda" isn't really what she told Maloi. It's a date.
She walks over to her closet, pulling out a carefully chosen suit. It's sleek, tailored perfectly to her figure, and she knows it will make a good impression. As she dresses, she takes a moment to look at herself in the mirror, adjusting her tie and smoothing out any wrinkles.
Once satisfied, she heads down to her garage, slipping into her car.
The engine purrs to life as she pulls out of the driveway, heading toward her date's house. The drive is quiet, giving her time to think.
Her mind drifts back to Maloi, the way she had looked at her before she left. There was something in Maloi's eyes that Colet couldn't quite shake—a mixture of hope and desperation, as if she wanted her to stay but didn't have the words to ask.
Colet sighs, gripping the steering wheel a little tighter. She knows she's been distant, and she hates that she hurt Maloi. But there are things she needs to sort out, things she needs to figure out for herself before she can even think about fixing what's broken between them.
The road ahead is clear, but Colet's thoughts are anything but. As she pulls up to her date's house, she takes a deep breath, trying to push Maloi out of her mind. But it's harder than she expected.
Colet can't help but wonder if she's making a mistake, if she should have stayed, should have tried to work things out with Maloi instead of running away.
But the door opens, and her date steps out, smiling warmly at her. Colet puts on her best smile, trying to shake off the lingering doubts. For now, she'll focus on the present. She'll deal with everything else later.

Back at the park, the group tries to enjoy their ice cream, but the tension still lingers in the air. Maloi glances at Mikha from the corner of her eye, noticing how distant she seems. She wants to say something, to bridge the gap that has grown between them, but the words don't come.
Mikha, for her part, is struggling to keep her emotions in check. She wants to be angry, to yell at Maloi for being so blind to Colet's flaws. But more than that, she wants to protect Maloi, to keep her from getting hurt again.
But she knows that Maloi won't listen, not now. So she keeps her silence, focusing on her ice cream instead, even though it tastes like nothing to her.
Gwen and Sheena exchange worried glances, sensing the unresolved tension but unsure of how to address it. Sheena tries to make conversation, talking about anything and everything to keep the mood light, but it's clear that it's a struggle.
As the sun begins to set, casting long shadows across the park, the group finishes their ice cream and starts heading back to their respective homes. The day feels unfinished, the tension still hanging heavy in the air, but no one has the energy to deal with it.
Maloi lingers for a moment, watching as Mikha walks away. She wants to call out to her, to tell her that she understands, that she's sorry, but the words catch in her throat.
Instead, she lets Mikha go, her heart heavy with regret. She knows that things between them aren't right, but she doesn't know how to fix it. Not when everything feels so complicated.
As she heads home, Maloi can't shake the feeling that maybe, just maybe, she made a mistake in trying to keep everyone happy. She just ended up hurting the people who matter most to her.
