(y/n)'s POV
A knock on my door caused me to sigh, "Yes?""Lord Vader wanted you to be informed that he was leaving." One of the clones told me without opening the door.
I rolled my eyes. Is he seriously throwing a tantrum?"And when will he be back?"
"I'm sorry, he didn't say. He left alone which usually means it's a short trip."
"Thank you." I said low and the clone on the other end walked away. It's been a few hours since he barged out of my room and I was currently laying in my bed as I balanced my lightsaber above me with the force. The sound of my stomach rumbling pulled me out of my love frustrated thoughts; I haven't eaten anything today and I probably should get something so I don't end up feeling sick again.
I placed my covering over my face and walked out of the bedroom to proceed to the cafeteria. That is, until I walked past a familiar doorway that led to the one place that I was forbidden to enter. One of the older women that I recognized as an employee came out with a few empty trays, "Dahlia." I spoke her name and she immediately jumped by the sound of my voice. The trays she held began to fall, but I caught them with the force.
She swallowed nervously as she composed herself, "Thank you Lady Anya," She began grabbing the trays from the air so I could release my hold on them, "My apologies, I didn't see you there." She looked down to the floor to avoid my gaze.
"Do not be frightened Dahlia, I'm not going to hurt you. I just want to ask you something." I crossed my arms and she slowly looked up to meet my amber eyes.
She nodded, "Of course."
"What's down there?" I nudged my head towards the now closed entrance. Her eyes widened and she looked to be too scared to answer my question. I sighed in annoyance, well it looks like I'm going to try this out for the first time, "Tell me what is down there." I waved my hand in front of her face.
"Lord Vader's prisoners." She responded in a monotone that would remind anyone of a brainless zombie.
I waved my hand again, "How many and who are they?"
"Three and I'm sorry I don't know their names, but I think one used to be a Jedi." She responded again and my eyes widened with only one person in mind.
Anakin Skywalker.
(Initially when I wrote this chapter years ago, I received a lot of "my god she's fucking dumb" "I hate this bitch, she has no brains" comments and I'll be honest it seriously irritated me. 🙈 So be mindful, she's clueless to so many things surrounding Vader, he's not exactly an open book. So she's not dumb for jumping to this theory, just ignorant which isn't her fault. I take my y/n's very seriously lol I'm protective I'm sorry.)Maybe that's why he's been so reluctant to tell me and why he forbid me from going down there. He's here, it has to be him, "Thanks Dahlia, now go away." I shooed her and she rushed away quickly. I stood there for a moment as I gazed upon the door; my heart was pounding and my hands were sweating. I was going to be disobeying one of his rules again, after I swore to him that I wouldn't. But if Anakin really is down there, I have to see him.
I looked around me to see if anyone was looking, and lucky for me no one was around. I used the force to open the door and I stepped inside; I walked slowly down the steps.
I reached the bottom floor and began making my decent further into the hallway than I have ever gone. He had only taken me into one of the first few doors in here when I got curious and he for once fed my curiosity. So I've never actually gone as deep as I'm going now.
