Listen to the song thugz mansion by Tupac while you read this!

"Why would I be jealous, when I don't even remotely like you?" "First of all, I know you like me because when I fell asleep in your bed you didn't kick me out. Second of all, there is a fine line between love and hate. And third of all, everyone likes me. Girls, boys, they all find me irresistible." With each claim he takes a step closer  until he's towering above me. in order to meet his gaze, I'm forced to tilt my chin upward. Damn it, I can't even remember why I was angry. Why are his eyes so sparkly? If I reach out I can touch his hair. Hey! He was telling the truth. His hair is blue; I can see the roots starting to show. His head bends down so close to mine that it breaks the invisible bubble called personal space. "I didn't kick you out of my bed out of the kindness of my heart. It was nothing more than that," I say failing to convince even myself. "You're lying," he says roughly. His eyes break away from mine and dart downwards. The palms of my hands have heated up with perspiration. "There's only one way to find out," he states. He has really nice eyebrows. They're not too thick and not too thin. Eyebrows on fleek! Oh my G-d! Holy mother he's going to kiss me! His mouth closes the distance between us capturing my lips in a soft embrace. I pull away from him and my eyes widen into enormous saucers. "Oh my G-d!" I yell. My cheeks are inflamed and my pulse has quickened at an abnormal pace. That was nothing like kissing Denny Richards at the spring dance! Why did I just yell? I'm an idiot. He stares at me for a brief second as if trying to glean my thoughts.

Instead of commenting on what just transpired he stretches his arms out in sudden exhaustion. "I'm wiped out man. We should head on to sleep now," he remarks. Did he just call me man? I trail behind him completely embarrassed and at a loss for words. Why is he acting like that didn't just happen? Why did he kiss me?! Two seconds ago he was flirting with that hippie girl! He leads me into an inconspicuous white farm house. Its white exterior corresponds to the other homes surrounding it.

His marble like expression is imperceptible as he holds the door open for me. A small smile plays on his lips. Once we're inside Gizmo's form unveils itself. He curls up on the carpet looking drained. "Um, you didn't forget about the bike right?" I ask tensely. "Of course not," he answers. "Gizmo took care of it. It's in the shed," he says. I look upwards, large wooden beams attached to the ceiling support the structure. "Do you have a shower?" I ask awkwardly. I shift my bag pack across my shoulders. "Yeah just head down the hall to the right," he instructs. "Thanks," I squeak. The bathroom is surprisingly modern in contrast to the rest of the house. I lock the door and strip myself of the sweaty clothing that clings to my skin.

The hot water beats against my back. The pressure relieves some of the soreness afflicting my shoulders. Silently, I praise myself for bringing shampoo and soap. I wrap myself in a towel that I found in Kai's cabinet. I pull on a pair of jeans and a black polo shirt. A deep sigh emerges from my chest.Who would have thought wearing pajamas would be a luxury? Now that I'm on the run I have to be ready to leave at a moment's notice. I check my reflection in the mirror noticing my flushed appearance. After rubbing the towel over my dark hair, I grab my bag and return to the front of the house. Oh my G-d! This time I manage to speak silently. Kai stands in the middle of the room with his bare torso on display. His gloved hand holds a needle above his forearm. His torso is alight with a strange blue and red wire pattern. It's the same one that had previously evoked my revulsion.

He sighs in relief as the thin silver needle pierces his skin. "What are you doing?" I ask fearfully. "I didn't notice you," he says in surprise. "Are you a drug addict?!" I ask. "NO! I'm diabetic," he replies quickly. "Oh, sorry." I avert my eyes from his sculpted torso. Instead, I focus on the dust swirling above me. "Why aren't you wearing pajamas?" he asks. "You know, just in case we have to suddenly run for our lives," I shrug. He nods in agreement. "That makes sense. It only takes me two seconds to get dressed." He turns away and gives me a full view of his muscular back. He's killing me. He tugs on a metal handle attached to the wall, in a motion which causes the muscles in his shoulders and back to flex. The thud of a mattress falling tears my gaze away from Kai 's physique.

"You can sleep here. I'll sleep on the couch," he tells me. Our eyes connect and he meets my eyes unwavering. I sit myself on the bed and drop my bag to the floor. "Feel free to take off your clothes. It won't bother me," he casually remarks. "Don't try me," I warn. His familiar humor eases the tension between us. He smirks and then reaches behind me. His body stretches over me. "You don't mind the music do you?" he asks. A slow hip hop song emerges from the I-pod on the nightstand. "Nope," I reply easily. I didn't know aliens listen to hip hop. I love hip hop! We're soul mates. Haha just kidding. "We'll talk about how to deal with Blue tomorrow," Kai says. "You don't need to worry. No one can track us inside of my bunker. I had a cloaking device installed in all of them." "All right, I trust you," I say coolly. Kai sleeps opposite me on the couch and his armor hangs above him on the wall. Gizmo crawls over to him and curls up on his chest. I fall asleep listening to the pulsating rhythm of hip hop. All the while, the impression of Kai's lips on mine haunts me.

OMG! They finally kissed! HAHA! Do you think that took a long time? There's still a lot of exciting developments to come! So read on to find out. Let me know if this gave you the feels! Tweet me @RinaFactor.
