——————A small knock at the door makes Tyler jump slightly, "ya' decent in there?" Bonnies voice reaches his ears, and a small smile creeps upon his lips.
"Yes ma'am" he turns around as he holds his hat in one hand.
"Morning" bonnie smiles as she opens the door.
Tyler smiles in return, his eyes filtering over the short dungarees and baby pink tank top she wears, her white cowboy boots cladding her feet.
"Morning" he tilts his head slightly.
Bonnie swivels on her heel as she rocks back and forwards slightly, "I been thinking 'bout what ya' said" she smiles weakly.
Tyler steps forward, "yeah?" He smirks, hopeful deep down.
"I'll come with you... as long as you promise not to get me killed" bonnie looks up at the man with a wide grin.
"Hand on my heart" Tyler shrugs, smiling as she chuckles.
Downstairs, the fresh smell of bacon and pancakes and sweet honey fills the air as the pair grace the older couple with their presence.
"Morning baby, and good morning..." Chris pulls his reading glasses down as he looks up to see an unfamiliar man stood in his kitchen.
Lily looks over her shoulder, "I saw a truck when I was feeding the chickens, figured you'd brought someone home with you... so, I made plenty to go around" a bright smile decorates her face as she places a huge stack of pancakes on the table.
"Momma, you say that as if this is a normal thing for me. Which it's not..." Bonnie frowns, quickly looking up at Tyler to see him smiling.
"I know, sweetheart. You've gotten me all excited... please, take a seat" lily smiles at the younger man, pointing to a seat at the table.
The four sit in content, a breakfast of champions in front of them, and the sound of horses running freely outside.
"What's your name son?" Chris crunches on the bacon, a half-friendly smile on his face.
"Tyler, it's nice to meet you sir" Tyler holds his hand out, to which he gains a firm hand shake from Bonnie's father.
"You too, ma'am" Tyler moves to shake Lily's hand, and the older woman smiles widely.
Bonnie shakes her head at her mothers giddy expression, and takes a bite from her food, her cheeks slowly heating up.
"So, you and my daughter..." Chris begins, only to be cut off by an embarrassed Bonnie.
