Frisk looked out over the Sunset from Mt Ebott, the entrance to the underground right behind him. Everyone else had already rushed to leave. All the friends he had made on his journey, the new family he had found in Toriel and Asgore, his new mother and father as well as all the new people in his life who cared about him. He was happy, originally Frisk jumped down the hole at the summit of the mountain to end his life. He had spent so long alone as an orphan who was bullied by kids and adults alike, hated for no discernible reason and called a demon child. When he awoke with amnesia in the flower field underground it felt like a second chance at life, yet something felt...wrong. A twinge of regret for a life he could not fully save, someone who he thought deserved a second chance just as much as he did.

"Are you ready little one? The human world awaits us." Toriel smiled, alone with frisk in the moment, gently taking his hand to walk with him down to the human city from the mountain to find a new home to live in and begin the arduous process of integrating into society.

"Toriel, I mean Mom. Could you give me just a minute? There is something I want to check first before we go." Frisk asked, he was still adjusting to seeing the goat lady as his new mother. "Oh, ok well just don't take too long ok and be careful." Toriel warned, she was already being overly motherly too her newest son, but she was confident that if Frisk could make it through the underground once they could go back into it again. So, she let him go alone, not wanting to control him.

Frisk left the sunset behind and once again descended into the dark bowels of the mountain. There was something or someone Frisk had almost left behind. Someone who needed frisks help, someone who if he didn't save their soul he would regret it forever.

"Asriel...you didn't deserve the fate you were given. I promise you, I'm gonna save your life just like I saved your humanity. I know your still here somewhere so Just hang on a little longer for me." Frisk vowed. Eventually the Human Arrived at the patch of flowers he awoke on after his fight with Asriel Dreemurr, he remembered being surrounded by his new friends, he remembers the epic battle he had with the fallen prince and the sadness within his heart as he desperately wanted to cling to life. He was just a child with the powers of a god, playing pretend, he wanted to reset the universe and do it all over again, but Frisk showed him that no matter what, deleting everything that has happened is not the way, the good and the bad, they are required to forge onward and create a new future. Frisk still had that power, that strange terrifying ability to reset the timeline, he tried not to think about the implications of it as he pressed onward.

Not long after Frisk would reach the throne room, a huge field of flowers carpeted it's interior. Frisk had surmised that the Flowers grew here because the ground was fertilized with the disintegrated bodies of people, namely Asriel's. Frisk had heard the story about how Asriel absorbed Chara's soul to go to the surface, about how humans had thought he killed Chara and beat him senselessly to the point that he died on this very spot, bloody and battered he carried himself to this room and perished.

Thinking about such things made Frisk well up with sadness and anger. Sadness for the innocent boy who gave his life for nothing and anger at his own species for being so callous, but as these feelings began to set in frisk felt something, a cold draft, a shift in the darkness of the chamber. Frisk realized that a strange dark cloud had entered the room and began to permeate the entire side opposite him. Previously this room was quite well lit but now there was this pervading darkness, one which moved like a cloud or an oil slick. It was hard to gaze upon. It was like looking at a blind spot or a sun blotch, but a vague checkered pattern could be made out. Something began to stir in the darkness, and Frisk was surprised when a small creature made from said darkness was ejected out of it, its body was small with a large, rounded head and antennae the only features were sharp clawed hands and bright yellow eyes like searchlights. Frisk hesitantly got closer, examining the creature before it suddenly jumped up, attempting to slash at Frisk's face but he was able to dodge just at the last second, falling to the ground as he did.
