TRIGGER WARNING: SA AND MANIPULATION

I'm leaving the apartment, here's the key. Here's my lawyer's information below to pass to your lawyer. Our contact will go through them as of now. Unfortunately, things had to come to this, I figured space and time apart would do us good.

Courtney stared at the note in disbelief. She couldn't believe what she just read. He was really letting her go?

She took a picture of the note and immediately sent it to her lawyer. After that, Courtney immediately called Heather and Bridgett to tell them what happened but they were both busy so she texted instead.

She sent the picture to her two best friends and her phone practically blew up with how many texts she was getting from Heather and Bridgette.

Heather: no fucking way

Heather: your shitting me right?

Bridgette: are you okay Courtney?!

Heather: we need to celebrate if you're okay of course lol

Bridgette: what do you think of this all I know is it must be a lot to process

Heather: he's taking himself out. I love it when trash takes itself out

Courtney rolled her eyes at the texts before sending replies.

It felt so good yet weird to not have him hovering around her and it felt great cause she could finally breathe.

"Hey, Stephanie right? How are you feeling today?" A voice said from her left.

Startled she looked up to see her classmate, Alexander.

"Hey. I'm yeah Stephanie and I'm doing better thank you. Just thinking." Stephanie smiles.

"Thinking about what? Wanna talk about it?" He asked with a lopsided smile as he walked up to her.

She couldn't help but feel butterflies get stronger in her stomach as he got closer and closer.

He sat next to her and smiled and looked at her with calming yet inviting eyes. She strangely felt comfortable it was weird to her.

His red ginger hair has big light curls with his piercing green eyes. Stephanie swallowed the lump forming in her throat before chuckling trying to build the confidence to speak.

"I don't think I should bother you it's girly stuff." She said with a shrug.

"Or you don't wanna talk about it?" He asked exaggerating the or.
