Mr. Jeon: "Oh taehyung you came, I was waiting for you both for a long time."

After Mr. Jeon said Taehyung could stay, the family gathered in the living room, with light chatter filling the space.

Mr. Jeon: "Taehyung, I'm glad you could join us tonight. It's been a while since we all got together like this."

Taehyung: "Yes, Uncle. I'm really happy to be here. I missed these family gatherings."

Mrs. Jeon: "Well, we're happy to have you, Taehyung. Why don't you go freshen up? Jungkook's room is just down the hall. You can borrow some of his clothes for tonight."

Taehyung: "Thank you, Auntie. I'll go do that now."

Y/N: "I'll go to my room too, Mom. Need to freshen up before dinner."

Mrs. Jeon: "Sure, sweetie. Take your time."

Jungkook walked into the room as Taehyung and Y/N headed off to their respective rooms.

Jungkook: "Hey, Tae. You're in my room tonight. I left out some clothes for you on the bed."

Taehyung: "Thanks, man. I appreciate it."

Jungkook: "No problem. Just don't mess up my stuff, okay?" *he teased, giving Taehyung a playful shove.*

Taehyung: *laughing* "No promises!"

As everyone was getting ready, guests started arriving. Soon, the house was filled with laughter and conversations as Taehyung's parents, Jungkook's girlfriend Je-Joon, and her parents joined the Jeons in the living room.

Mr. Jeon: "Welcome, everyone! I'm so glad we could all gather here tonight. It's been too long."

Mr. Kim: "Thank you for having us, Mr. Jeon. It's always a pleasure to be here."

Mrs. Jeon: "We're happy to have you all. Now, let's get everyone settled before dinner."

Once everyone was seated comfortably, the conversation turned lively. Je-Joon and Jungkook were sitting close together, occasionally sharing shy smiles. Noticing this, Mr. Jeon decided to address the elephant in the room.

Mr. Jeon: *clearing his throat* "Now that we're all here, there's something important we need to discuss."

Mrs. Jeon: "Yes, it's something we've been meaning to talk about for a while."

Everyone turned their attention to the Jeons, sensing the seriousness in their tone.

Mr. Jeon: "As you all know, Jungkook and Je-Joon have been together for some time now. And we've been discussing the future-specifically, their future together."

Jungkook and Je-Joon both blushed, exchanging nervous glances as everyone looked at them with smiles and anticipation.

Je-Joon's Mom: "Oh, this is wonderful news! Have you two set a date yet?"

Mrs. Jeon: "Yes, we have. We were thinking of having the engagement next week, and the wedding shortly after."

Je-Joon: *blushing* "Mom, Dad... we were going to tell you, but..."

Jungkook: "We wanted to surprise you, but it looks like the surprise is out now."

Everyone laughed, and the atmosphere lightened as the conversation turned to the upcoming wedding plans.

Taehyung: *teasingly* "So, Jungkook, how does it feel to finally tie the knot?"

Jungkook: "Feels like I'm about to be bullied for life... by my best friend." *he shot Taehyung a playful glare.*
