"Where did you have in mind?" Eun Ae asked, her curiosity piqued."I was thinking we could go to the new cafe that just opened up downtown," Joon Woo replied, his eyes shining with excitement. "I've been wanting to try it out."
"Sounds good!" Eun Ae said, smiling at Joon Woo's suggestion.
But as soon as she agreed, her mind suddenly clicked into gear. "Wait, I don't have any clothes with me," she said, her eyes widening in panic.
Joon Woo looked at her in confusion. "What do you mean? You're wearing clothes right now," he said, chuckling.
Eun Ae laughed nervously. "I mean, I don't have any other clothes to change into. I was planning to do laundry today."
Joon Woo's face lit up with understanding. "Ah, I see! Well, in that case, let's swing by your house and grab some clothes for you."
Eun Ae nodded gratefully. "Thanks, Joon Woo. I really appreciate it."
So, they headed to Eun Ae's house, chatting and laughing along the way. When they arrived, Eun Ae quickly grabbed some clothes and changed into a fresh outfit.
"Okay, I'm ready!" she said, emerging from her room with a smile.
Joon Woo grinned, looking her up and down. "You look great," he said, offering his arm. "Shall we go?"
Eun Ae blushed, feeling happy and carefree. She took his arm, and they headed out to the cafe, ready to enjoy their day together.
As Eun Ae and Joon Woo stepped out of her house, they were met with an unexpected surprise. Beom Seok was standing at the door, his hand raised to ring the bell. But when he saw Joon Woo, his expression darkened with anger.
"What are you doing here?" Beom Seok growled, his eyes narrowing at Joon Woo.
Eun Ae's heart skipped a beat as she sensed the tension between the two men. "Beom Seok, what's wrong?" she asked, trying to intervene.
But Beom Seok's gaze didn't waver from Joon Woo. "I asked you what you're doing here," he repeated, his voice low and menacing.
Joon Woo stood his ground, his eyes locked on Beom Seok. "I was just helping Eun Ae with something," he said calmly.
Beom Seok snorted. "Helping her? At her house? Alone?"
Eun Ae felt a surge of embarrassment and worry. This was not going well. "Beom Seok, stop," she said firmly, trying to defuse the situation.
But Beom Seok's anger seemed to be escalating by the second. "You're always around her, Joon Woo," he spat. "What's going on between you two?"
Eun Ae shouted out loud, "Beom Seok, stop!" just as he was about to punch Joon Woo. Beom Seok froze, his fist mid-air, and turned to Eun Ae with a mixture of anger and confusion.
"Beom Seok, calm down," Eun Ae said, her voice firm but gentle. Beom Seok took a deep breath and nodded, his anger slowly dissipating.
Eun Ae turned to Joon Woo and said, "Wait outside for a moment, please." Joon Woo nodded and stepped outside, looking concerned.
Eun Ae turned back to Beom Seok and asked, "What's wrong? Why were you so angry?"
Beom Seok's expression turned from anger to worry. "I saw him coming out of your house, and I thought...I thought something was going on between you two," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Eun Ae's eyes widened in understanding. "No, Beom Seok, it's not like that. Joon Woo was just helping me," she said, trying to reassure him.
But Beom Seok cut her off. "Why was he helping you? What's going on?"
