Beach Walk and Brain Drain

Alright....

Time to stroll this sandy runway like you're the latest Poseidon-approved beachwear model....

HAH.... at least I can stay positiv this way.

I step onto the soft sand, feeling the grains slip between my toes. The beach stretches out before me, framed by towering cliffs that make me feel like I've wandered into some kind of mythological alleyway.

Perfect. F

rom underwater chains to deserted beaches.

Just when I thought my day couldn't get any more epic.

I start walking along the shoreline, each step sending tiny ripples across the wet sand. The waves lap gently at my feet, soothing yet reminding me that I'm technically still in the ocean, just at the surface.

Nothing says "welcome to paradise" like being stranded on a secluded beach with no Wi-Fi.

Living the dream, Percy.

As I walk, my mind replays the whirlwind of events that led me here.

 Let's recap:

Step one – Walk to school.

Step two – Get kidnapped.

Step three – Underwater adventure with dragons and Megalodons.

Step four – Stranded on a random beach with no idea where I am.

Smooth sailing.

I glance around, hoping to spot something familiar—maybe a lifeguard station, a souvenir shop, or at least a Starbucks. Nada. Just endless sand and the rhythmic sound of waves crashing.

Fantastic.

Nothing like being marooned on an uncharted beach to make you appreciate land-dwelling myths like sandcastles and seagulls.

I decide to keep walking, hoping to find some clue about where I am. Maybe there's a hidden portal nearby, or perhaps I'll run into Annabeth or Grover, who've probably started a search party by now.

If I run into anyone, I'll just play it cool.

"Hey, I'm Percy Jackson, lost demigod extraordinaire. Want to join my spontaneous beach adventure?"

Yeah, that's a solid plan.

As I trudge along, my thoughts drift back to the dragon and the Megalodon.

Me: You know, if dragons could talk, I bet they'd have some epic tales about ancient seas and forgotten realms. And Megalodons? Probably still holding grudges about being extinct. Good company to keep the existential dread at bay.

I shake my head, trying to clear my thoughts.

Okay.....

Focus.....

Maybe there's something useful on this beach—like a magical artifact, a helpful deity, or at least a decent ice cream stand.

Hey, maybe there's ambrosia-flavored gelato?

Now that'd be nice.

I continue walking, the sun beginning to dip toward the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. It's beautiful, in a way that makes me forget, for just a moment, that I'm stuck on this godforsaken beach.

Me: You know, I have to admit, this sunset is kind of nice. It's almost like the universe is trying to distract me from my current predicament. Well played, universe. Well played.

I pause to take a deep breath, the salty air filling my lungs.

Alright,..... Time to try to think like a demigod.... as if that is helping me out...

Maybe there's a quest, or a prophecy, or something that can help me get back on track.

Or at least some clues about where I am.

As I walk, I notice something glinting in the sand up ahead. Curious, I make my way toward it, pushing aside shells and driftwood.

What's this?

A shiny object?

Maybe it's a clue.

Or maybe it's just a piece of someone's lost treasure map.

Either way, I'm about to solve the mystery of the day.

I bend down to pick it up, revealing a small, intricately carved amulet. It's adorned with symbols that look vaguely familiar—something about it feels... magical.

Well, well.....Just when I thought the day couldn't get any weirder, I find a mysterious amulet on the beach.

This just keeps getting better and better.

I hold the amulet up to the fading light, examining the symbols closely.

Maybe this is a sign.

Or maybe it's just a really cool piece of jewelry.

Either way, it's better than nothing.

I pocket the amulet, feeling a tiny bit more hopeful.

Alrighty..... Let's keep walking.

Maybe this amulet will lead me to my next adventure—or at least to a decent place to eat.

With a bit more hope, I continue down the beach, the sand crunching beneath my feet and the waves whispering secrets just beyond my understanding. You know if there was an amulet, there was for sure some kind of civilation here too! It just had to be!

Who knows?

Maybe today's not so bad after all.

As long as I keep finding interesting stuff and avoid getting turned into a demi-dietitian for monsters, I think I'll survive.

I laugh to myself, the sound echoing softly across the shoreline.

Me:  Can't wait to be able to say this to my friend.... HAH... as if they would believe me..... "Hey, remember that time I got saved by a dragon and a Megalodon? Yeah, me neither...". I am still not even trusting what happened... maybe I was high.... or am... who knows.... maybe this is all a dream.... A really weird and cool one but a strange dream for sure.
