"Gabby,"

Marco came down the hallway to where his daughter was sat in their home's kitchen already eating breakfast, "Hi daddy," The seven year old smiled at her dad who was dressed in his uniform, all ready for work, "You ready, sweetie?" He asked as his daughter finished her breakfast and put the bowl into the sink, "All done."

"That's my girl."

He clapped his hand against her smaller one hearing her giggle as he helped place her bagpack onto her shoulders, leaning down to look his daughter in her eyes, "Have a good day at school." He said when he heard beeping outside their home, "Ryan's here." He said with a small smile.

He did like having a support system with his two best friends, especially whenever he was off, he'd take the kids and Rilynn for two days and then they'd switch between them three, "Ryan." He smiled at his best friend when walking out of his home, with his duffel bag and key in hand.

Ryan Grey smiled at his best friend, "Hi Gabby," Rilynn Grey-Anderson smiled at the seven year old, "Hi Riley," Gabby buckled herself in as Marco kissed his daughter's forehead, "Have a good day at school, sweetie. You too, Ri-Ri," He said to his niece.

"Bye daddy,"

Gabrielle waved her hand as Ryan saluted to his best friend before driving down the street away from their home.

He walked into the station seeing both Jack and Andy up in the conference room by themselves, "What's going on?" He asked confused, looking at where Hughes was, who shrugged her shoulders, "I have no idea." She stated as she walked away from him.

"Vic." He went to where she was, stopping her from walking any further, "Are you okay?" He asked, remembering how she reacted at the fire at the inn, "I'm fine." She replied as Marco looked at her, "Vic, honestly, come on." He said.

"I'm fine." She repeated herself as Marco knew what was happening, "The same thing happened to my fiancé," He said to Victoria, "She was scared of the fire—"

"I'm not—" Victoria shook her head, "I'm not scared of the fire, Marco." She said looking at her lieutenant, "Don't say that, my reputation is just starting and if one person hears this, It will end," Victoria told him, "But she overcame it. I helped her overcame her fear."

Victoria shook her head, "I don't need your help, I'm perfectly fine." She reassured him, but not convincingly as she walked away from her lieutenant.

"Vic." He said as the said female didn't turn around, completely avoiding the Rodriguez male's calls to her.

He shook his head, walking to where his turnout gear was, running a hand through his hair.
