Hunt you need it

With all the taking care of me part that everyone was doing, Esme and Edward were still the only two who hadn't been properly hunting since I got here. Carlisle came down on his way to work, to see Esme still sitting there. Sweetheart, I know you care very much for the girl, but you both should be hunting. Both? Both of you haven't hunted ever since she got here, your eyes are as black as coal, and you might slip up if you don't hunt soon. Again both? Yeah Edward's upstairs trying to distract himself from being hungry, so that he knows he won't hurt the girl. All the other's are out hunting.

*Ug* I'll be fine, but Edward should be hunting just like everyone else. Edward! Yeah? Go hunting! No thank you. It wasn't a suggestion, go hunting! No thank you. They were playfully arguing yelling up the stairs at each other. Edward I mean it! Yes, Esme, but I was polite and said no thank you. *Ug* you're impossible! Don't make me have to rush Alice or Rosalie back to hunt you down to go hunting Edward! I'm not afraid of them. Oh it's not an out of fear it's an out of human weakness thing, and just so you know I really didn't want to have to play that card Edward, but you're about to leave me no choice. I am the mother of this house hold and I will win this argument.

Yes, but aren't you being just a little too loud for Snow's sake. Edward Cullen go hunting or so help me! Ok, alright, I'm going I'm going. You should take your own advice you know dear. Yea dear, but if I leave and the others are out hunting, and you're at work then, who will watch over Snow? You're right. I can stay a few mins more, if you need me too. No dear, you go to work, when Edward comes back I'll go out. Ok sounds like a plan dear. He says kissing her forehead. When he gets back tell him to say with her, I think they've started to get along alright, if there's anyone she should trust it would be the two of us first and Edward.

Preferably in that order, but as long as she trusts someone, hey we're making progress. He kissed my forehead and left to go to work. A little bit later Edward came home. Freeze Edward. Esme said catching up rushing up the stairs. I need you do to do something for me. No thanks. Oh well your loss. Esme said starting to walk away, a coy smile on her lips, and in her voice. What do you mean? What I mean is that it's your loss because I was going to have you watch the girl while I took my turn to go hunting, and if you didn't she'd be trusting you less. Esme you know I was kidding. Edward said doing that kind of prince hair flip the kind you use without your hands where it shakes back down into place when you lean forward again, with a small smile on his lips.

Hm.... You're not doing this for me because I told you to do it, and you're not doing it because you think maybe she wants you down here with her, no you're doing this for both your benefits, but more so you then her, she'll trust you and you get to bond with her. And I'm saying this because she's asleep, but not just any bond, you're hoping the more time you spend with her the more you'll create a special relationship with her, that she'll trust you most out of all of us, that she'll bond with you most out of all of us, that it's not just a brother sister relationship you want, its the brother sister bond that only happens in movies where the siblings are the best of friends and are even more so friends then they are siblings. Where you'll be there for her whenever she needs you to be.

The kind of relationship where, you're so close that you don't have to speak to each other, to understand each other, the kind of bond that it's almost like you're a pair of Siamese connected at the hip and are always together. A relationship where when she gets more conformable with us, and with you that you're like Bonnie and Clyde. Am I right or am I right? She said backing him up against the wall. He looked over her shoulder at my sleeping figure. She's so peaceful. Yes she is, but you didn't answer my question.

That's because I thought it was one of those questions that you didn't actually want me to answer. So answer it. Why? So you can tell me that she's not here to make friends, that, that's not the kind of relationship that she needs, that the only relationship I'll ever have with her is that of just that as another sister, that's either too preppy for me or annoys me all the time and nothing more, and what if I say yes that, that is the kind of bond I want to have with her to be her best friend, the only friend aside from if Jacob ever finds out she's alive will ever need, will ever have, but I know that I can't get right now, because she's afraid of us, because she's afraid of me, and doesn't trust any of us except for you and maybe Carlisle.

Did you read my mind? She asked him stepping aside letting him breathe from being practically trapped against the wall. No I promise. Why was I dead on? You hit the nail on the head my dear boy, there wasn't even any need for any argument, playful or non, you had the argument with yourself. I figured you were going there, so I didn't let you say it, I didn't even want to hear myself say it. Edward please be more ok with acting human, vampire or not, we're only humans with immortality, a special diet, fangs, and supper powers. We don't need food or water or sleep like humans do to survive. We're not machines, we're not robots, we're not heartless animals.

Vampires are nothing more then the exceptions of what I just listed, so have emotions and please feel things, because we know you do. The only time you need to put on a façade around anyone is at school around humans, but never around us, lose the mask. The home is the one place you'll never have to hide. Remember that. And have as bonded and as close as a relationship as you want with her, just don't hurt, scare or freak her out and everything's good. Now before I leave, go shower, and change clothes you smell like sweat and your covered in blood, I just hope that means you hunted. She said tapping his cheek. I won't leave until you come back down, and she's asleep for now so she shouldn't be too much trouble. The others should all be home soon, Carlisle is at work, like always.

When he came back down. Won't she be scared if she wakes up and you're not here? If she worries, then calm her down, and talk normally to her. I won't be gone too long, just a couple of hrs. I'm trusting you with her Edward. Aw come on Esme you can trust me. I know I'm only teasing. Goodbye dear. Not 20 mins. later I woke up, rubbing my eyes. I looked around for Esme panicking when I didn't see her. No, no, no its ok, please don't be worried, Esme just went to hunt, she'll be gone for only a couple of hrs. But in the meantime, do you want to come play a little bit of Twinkle, twinkle little star with me? I pointed up.

No none of the others are here they're all out hunting too. And my father is at work. I pointed at him. Oh I did didn't I? Don't tell anyone I said that ok? He smirked, and made a zipping mouth motion. I zipped it and flicked it away. Doing butterfly hand jester that it flew away. He chuckled. Great. I'd never hear the end of it if someone found out. Come on Snow come sit with me at the bench and this time we won't be interrupted. We started playing a little. Hey, you're a fast learner, now let's try something a little different and by different I mean playing more then just those four keys. When I messed up I looked down sad. Hey, hey, he said picking up my head. You're doing great, you're doing better then at least Emmett started off, when I tried to teach him, he used his feet, and soon he fell back off the stool.

I couldn't help but smile at that. I wish that you'd keep smiling, I like watching you smile. I started out fine, but my finger slipped trying to play all 8 keys. And as soon as I missed I looked back down again. Hey, no it's ok we all make mistakes and you're still learning, you're a fast learner though, you'll get it, but for now let's just add a new finger to a new key each time we practice ok? I nodded my head, and smiled. We played for a while. We wouldn't have stopped if I hadn't gotten hungry. Are you hungry? He asked me. I licked my lips rubbing my tummy. I'll take that as a yes. I'll be honest because I don't eat food, food I don't actually know how to make any real food. You watched me eat that one other morning. I pointed to my head. Ok if you say so. "Yeah, only problem was is that it smells really good, if you get another cup out, might I have a sip?" I suppose it wouldn't hurt. I got up and got out a bowl and found cereal, and went into the fridge to get milk. Making myself a bowl, not pouring it into the cereal its self since I don't like it when milk is in the cereal, but into a glass, and finding chocolate sauce, to pour in and then mixing it in to the milk.

I mean I could've done that too, but I thought you'd want more something like lunchy I shook my head. Sitting down at the table. I ate a spoonful and then offered him a spoonful. No that's ok, like I told you I don't eat. But, he said going into the fridge. Ah, O+ my favorite, and has my name on it. Each of us has their favorite type of blood that we drink, and so we write our names on it so that we can drink more for later, and not have to go out again and hunt. You said you wanted to try a sip. Here you go. I sipped it, then gave it back to him. That's interesting I wonder if my father has gotten any results yet on your "problem." I nodded my head in understanding. Because you can keep down human food, and you like the taste of blood. I wonder if you're a creature too? Humans don't like the taste of blood. Well come on, let's go on back to the table. Do you mind if I ask you some questions? I shook my head and gestured for him to proceed.
