A dark blurry figure emerged from the darkness as it walked towards him. His eyes blurred and cleared. He recognized that figure. His lips stretched to a painful smile as the figure crouched beside him, and caressed his cheek.

He couldn't hear anything anymore. He just breathed in relief "Jungkook..." Before exhaling and closing his eyes.

Jimin woke up, it's been almost three months since this dream started destroying his sleep. He sighed as he sat and looked out the window beside his bed. The morning breeze was lightly brushing the light curtain. Apart from the constant repetition of this dream, what confused Jimin the most was the name. Who's Jungkook? I don't know any Jungkook... Jimin pulled his lips in thought. Ugh, eff this. He sighed in annoyance as he got down from the bed and made it.

He moved to the bathroom and ruffled his hair, he admired this new style: blonde wavy hair with light pink dye towards the end. He smiled until his eyes fell on the clock on the wall. Shit. He hurriedly washed himself before dressing himself into a warm bright yellow sweater and off-white shorts. He wore his shoes as he waited for the elevator to come. He exhaled in relief. When he checked his watch noticing he managed to catch his time.

Once inside, he found himself next to one of his not-so-kind neighbors who judged him for being so "girly." Just like father. Jimin rolled his eyes.

His father had thrown him out as soon as he got to know his son's sexual preference. And even before that, he used to criticize Jimin's style, his gentleness, and his personality, saying 'Become manlier!!', 'Stop wearing feminine clothes!', 'You look like you want to get raped!', 'Stop wearing these things, you look like a sex seeker! ',... 'I would have preferred a daughter instead of this poor excuse of a son', 'I should have educated you better instead of letting him be pampered by his mother', 'What a disgrace!', 'a waste of time!', 'useless!',... and so on. His mother didn't protect him from his father, because she felt powerless, but she didn't hesitate to help him financially and to find an apartment without his father knowing , after he was thrown out.

Jimin's parents were one of the richest families in the country, they pampered Jimin, but he grew up humble as most of the time he would be with the daughter of their housekeeper. Sometimes, he thought that maybe that's why he had more 'feminine taste' when his father would reproach him about that.

But now, he had no business with his father and thus, he won't spoil his day thinking about that person.

When he arrived at uni, he was greeted by the ever-bright face of his best friend Jung Hoseok. The ball of sunshine threw his arm over Jimin's shoulder and pulled him into a welcoming embrace.

"I want the same hair color" Hoseok whined as he ruffled Jimin's hair for the 5th time in less than 5 minutes while walking to their amphitheater.

"Wanna be hair twins?" Jimin asked with a big-toothed smile, "Shall we go after school?"

"Hey Jimin? Wanna get your ear pierced? We can be piercing twins too." Hoseok suggested sticking his tongue out.

Jimin chuckled, "And I thought you didn't like piercings?"

"Just to be your twin I can." Hoseok smiled brightly. And Jimin returned the smile to him, before concentrating on the lecture going on.

Jimin and Hoseok met when they were 7 years old, in school. Jimin, on his first day really wanted to make some friends, unlike the previous years where he was pushed around and an outcast, but the same scenarios happened, people threw dirt on him, and pushed him to the ground. Leaving him there before going back to their game. Jimin would get up, his knee bleeding and would sit in between the roots of a huge tree hiding himself between them until recess time was over, hugging his bunny plushie, and sobbing quietly. The same routine went on for almost two weeks, and Jimin had already lost his hope of making friends. That is when Hoseok popped out of nowhere and startled Jimin.

"Why are you crying?" Hoseok asked with a huge smile that made his eyes almost close.

Jimin looked down without saying anything, waiting for Hoseok to get bored and go away.

"I'm Hoseok. I've seen you for the past few days, you always give up and hide yourself. But from today, I'll be your hope."

The innocent little smile decorating Hoseok's face made Jimin shy to the point he hid his face behind his plush.

"Oh come on..." Hoseok sighted before pulling Jimin up and holding his hand guiding him to a group of other kids. But they all started protesting 'Eww, Hobi not him', 'he's weak', 'he can never catch the ball', 'he's always hurt', 'he's always crying'...

Jimin removed his hand from Hoseok's grasps and hid behind him. He was waiting to get rejected by Hoseok.

"If you're all mean to him, I'll be his only friend." Hoseok defended him before taking his hand back into his and pulling him away, making Jimin surprised, but also happy. He finally has a friend. A hope.

"And you!" Hoseok shouted, angry at Jimin for not standing up for himself after they got a bit far, Jimin ignoring his angry tone, just smiled in pure joy turning his eyes into crescent and making Hoseok's anger melt away.

"You... don't listen to those meanies, from now on you're MY friend, okay?"

"Jimin..." Jimin said after nodding.

"What?"

"My name is JIMIN!" Jimin shouted with sparkles in his eyes as he stood there proudly.

Hoseok smiled, "Jimin, I declare you Hobi's best friends." He said with a wide smile, and Jimin hugged him. "Hobi..."

From that day on, they would wait for each other and hang out in their world. And if sometimes, other students came to Hoseok trying to get him back, Jimin would cling to his arm and shoo them, saying "Shoo, shoo, Hobi is MY friend" and sticking his tongue out. They would instantly go away annoyed, and Jimin would receive a head pat from his best and only friend. And if people started bullying the younger when Hobi was not nearby, Hoseok would come barging in and not hesitate to punch whoever made his Jiminie cry.

Days of friendship turned to weeks, which turned to months and into years, until now.

"Arghhh, I'm so happy right now I could jump" Hoseok excitedly voiced. As they walk home from town eating an ice cream.

"You're already jumping though," Jimin pointed out chuckling.

"Wait, wait let's take a pic," Hoseok said pulling out his phone, "Show your ear well to the camera."

"It's nice, send it to me, and I'll print it, and give you a copy."

"Kay..."

They had just gotten their ear pierced in the helix, on the same ear, after Hoseok dyed his hair like Jimin.

"Wanna come over to my place after dance practice?"

"Yeah, we can study together if you want, but I need to get home at eight because my cousins are coming over, and you know my mother..."

"Alright, alright..." Jimin replied as he chuckled. The last time Hoseok's cousin came to their house, Jimin was over and he was a witness to the chaos between all the children running everywhere, Hoseok's mother screaming at them afraid for her vase collection, and at her husband because the food wasn't done yet, meanwhile, Hoseok was dying because of how noisy it was. "Then, should I come over?" Jimin asked with a toothed smile.

"Sure, if you want to die..." Hoseok replied rolling his eyes.

"Oh come on, they're cute."

"I hate kids, I want to arrghhh" Jimin laughed at Hoseok's crushing action.

"Anyway, I would need to get some clothes from my apartment for the night."

"Let's go after dance practice."
